Yay, the weekend is here! Mum has been bizzy outside, trimming trees. Managed to get done outside just before the rain shower got here. So she didn't get wet.
We had a new spring fevver show up, Mr Rose-Breasted Grosbeak. Only saw this one so far, some springs we see lots.
Mr and Mrs Robin have built a nest in the evergreen in front of the house. Mum peaked, no eggs yet and she will try not to get close very often so the fevvers feel at peace.
But we have grate views. This is from outside by the window where we sits a lot.
But one more window down is even closer and there is a table there we can sit on to watch.
But not much going on so we will nap today. Mum can continue with her chores, the inside ones.
Farewell Jenny at Forty Paws.
Get well to Ruis as well.
ReplyDeleteMr. Grosbeak looks like an inquisitive little fellow. He's looking directly at your Mum and her camera!
It looks like you will be having some good Bird TV this season!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you boys are all set for a nice weekend!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans
Rose-breasted grosbeaks don't visit often, but they're always welcome. It's raining here now, but we got our human staff to take us out before the rain moved in.
ReplyDeleteWe had a male yellow-headed blackbird in our yard yesterday, he was gorgeous! What fun that you'll get to watch the robins hatch and grow.
ReplyDeleteWe have some little house wren babies in our birdhouse on our porch. Mom Paula is afraid she'll get attacked as she walks out the door.
ReplyDeleteWe get Evening Grosbeaks here, and the Rose-breasted ones not so much. Bird watching is fun, isn't it?

ReplyDeleteA robin has built a nest in next door guy's evergreen tree that we can see from our window. The mom told us there are 5 eggs in it! We sit and watch Mama Robin go in and out and out and in all day long!
ReplyDeleteIt's so tiring watching our moms do all that work!
ReplyDeleteWe lov seeing the tulips along the house bottom! And we would like ta meet that birdie a bit closer up...
