Garden Thursday

Hello and welcome to Garden Thursday with me, Virginger.
Stuff happened this week. Some good, some not so good. So here is the tail, er, tale.
Two years ago mum had someone come and do the mulch. It takes her days to do this, the people she pays, about an hour. This is what it should look like above.
Here is what it looked like when they were done. They just stopped 10 feet from the end and left the area around the bird feeders bare! Sheesh.
Plus they moved out the birdie bath, so she had to move that back in and get it all level and fill it with water. She sent them a message last night with the pictures and asked why they didn't finish. She hasn't heard back from them yet. Maybe time to use someone else next time.

In other news, mum got the grass all chopped off and even. Looks nice. Plus she put out the Oriole feeder, we should be seeing them come back in the next few days.

That is all for now. Thanks for stopping by our garden.

Love, Virginger.

  1. Sigh, iffen ya wanna have it done right, you gotta do it herself... Sigh.

  2. We hope they just ran out and will be back to finish up! Our Dad has been doing mulch here, and you are right, it takes a lot of time and effort to do it on your own.

  3. How strange! Let us know their reason for stopping.

  4. It is aggravating and discouraging when things like that happen. Hopefully they will be back to finish the project.
    Have a great weekend

  5. Hopefully she'll get this all straightened out soon!
