Happy Monday? We had a nice quiet weekend. At least inside we did. As we ate lunch yesterday mum looked outside and saw Mr Hawk eating a dove! We didn't see the take down, just the after part. Once mum was done with her lunch she went outside and got some pics.
Mum taking the picture from the drive between the two evergreen trees. He seems to sense mum, but a car had just driven by too.
Then mum walked to the other side of the road to take a few pictures from there too.
Later when he was done eating and flown away, mum went to take pictures of all that was left. Fevvers!
It was interesting to watch!
Plus we got our first flower outside for the year. One little purple crocus. The spring birds are here, robins, red-winged blackbirds and grackles.
Have a good week everyone.
Whoa! Circle of life indeed.
ReplyDeleteGood Bird TV and your first flower. Sounds like it will be a good week, Ducky!
