ManCat Monday

Like a graceful vase, a cat, even when motionless, seems to flow. - George Will

Happy Monday? We had a nice quiet weekend. At least inside we did. As we ate lunch yesterday mum looked outside and saw Mr Hawk eating a dove! We didn't see the take down, just the after part. Once mum was done with her lunch she went outside and got some pics.

Mum taking the picture from the drive between the two evergreen trees. He seems to sense mum, but a car had just driven by too.
Then mum walked to the other side of the road to take a few pictures from there too.
Later when he was done eating and flown away, mum went to take pictures of all that was left. Fevvers!
It was interesting to watch!

Plus we got our first flower outside for the year. One little purple crocus. The spring birds are here, robins, red-winged blackbirds and grackles.
Have a good week everyone.

  8. It sounds like you had the circle of life right outside your window! When we had the eagle eating... something... just beyond the ridge in our back yard, the head peep was never brave enough to go out and look to see what exactly was left. Your human is brave!
