If a cat had a halo, it would probably wear it around it's tail. It makes a statement. - Sergio Aragones
Happy Monday! We had a marrvy weekend. It was sunny and getting a bit warmer!
Mum brought something interesting home for lunch yesterday. She call it sue-she. Mum said it had bits of fish, ava-cado, cream cheese, rice and seaweed? Yeah, seaweed!
I sniffed a bit but mum wouldn't give me any, she ate them all herself! Said we went to a different store and liked what she saw, something a bit different that she thought she might like. She says she isn't much of a sue-she fan.
We had lots of sun, so I plunked myself in the front window for a while yesterday morning and just soaked up the solar rays.
Later I heard mum in the kitch-hen and was hearing sqeaking and it was mum opening the window for the first time this year!
I bopped right over to check it out. Lots of sun and yes.....
..... an open window. Yes we still have snow on the ground, but it has been warms enuf to start melting the snow. Slowly we are getting bare spots. Will have to get some pics for you.
So here's to a wonderful week and more melting!
My human LOVES sushi - and she has never shared with me either... no fair!
ReplyDeleteI'm not terribly keen on sue-she either Ducky.
ReplyDeleteI'm so pleased that you and your mum enjoyed open windows over the weekend.

ReplyDeleteMy mum doesn't like sushi much either. I am glad you were able to get some window whiffies and hope the good weather is on the way.
ReplyDeleteThe Mom opened our windows for this first time in a while too! It's so nice! We have been glued to the windows the past couple of days.
ReplyDeleteI bet I'd like dat sue-she.
ReplyDeleteWe like the sunpuddle pics!
ReplyDeleteYou know what? In Japan, quite a lot of cat food has seaweed (the nori that is used in sushi) and most cats really like it!
Purrs,
The Chans
Oh, we will beg for sushi, though only Pierre actually eats any.

ReplyDeleteAh, fresh almost spring whiffies! The best kind ever!
ReplyDeleteThat sue-she sounds inneresting, but the rice an see-weed dont. We'll stick to our regular canned fish.
ReplyDeleteThe warmer weather sounds good though.
Here we all prefer our fishies cooked. But we will eat bugs raw!
ReplyDeleteThe first window whiffies of the year! None better.
ReplyDeleteConcats on your melting! We can't wait for spring!
ReplyDeleteNothing better than an open window after a long, no open window winter! Our mom loves sue-she.
