Garden Thursday

Hello and Welcome to Garden Thursday.

Spring is really here. The grass is getting all green, the temps are warmish, we are getting rain. Sometimes a lot of rain. We got 3.5 inches last week on Wednesday to Thursday. But it is good for the plants.

All things yellow this week. The daffs, four-sith-ia and all.

Oh and mum transplanted a shrub on Sunday too.It seems to be liking the spot mum moved it too and the wind didn't blow it over. Mum put down some bricks to support it as the ground was soft from the rain and her watering it.
Yes, she watered the shrub and thankfully had her mucking about foot gear on. View from the top and then the bottom. These things don't make it into the house.

Mum hosed off all the icky stuff as it was hard to walk on it or not slip too.
Other foot wasn't nearly so bad, but then she pushed down into the muck with the other foot.
Then the wood thing broked that held the big rain gauge, so mum got a pole out from storage, put it much closed to the house, not under the trees either. So she can see it better and we can too.
See how close, mum won't need her spy binocs to read it now.
That is all for this week.

Love, Virginger and Glimmer.
