Caturday

HiYa, Ducky here. Happy Caturday! It is a beauty-full day here, bright and sunny. Mum has got her away from home chores done and is home to worship me for the rest of the day!  She says she needs to defur the house. AGAIN?
She opened the big windows that go to the floor, lots of fresh air for me and her today.  We like that.
I had an adventure on Thursday. Mum got all ready for work and then came out to find this on the floor. One of the violets had jumped down and committed planticide!
Mum got out the sucking monster to clean it up, then headed off to work. She didn't see me, but figured I had gone into hiding because of the noise.
Nope, she didn't see me get into her closet as she was getting dressed, so I spent the day in the closet, napping away. When she got home and came to change clothes and found me. She opened the door, I scooted out! After that I got lots of cuddles.

So enjoy the weekend everyone.

  1. That must have been no fun, getting locked in the closet all day! I think your human owes you one... or several!

  2. I can open the pantry door anytime I want (when Mommy doesn't know). Sneaky, huh? Nice quiet place to nap!
I love your bed, by the way. It looks so comfy!

  3. I bet you felt safe, knowing no plant was going to come after you in the closet. You have a strong bladder!

That planticide was messy business, wasn't it?!?

  6. Another plant jumps to its death, Ducky? That's not good! Glad your mum has invested time and energy trying to make it up to you ever since. LOL

  7. I bet it was Not Me who knocked that violet down. It was probably him who shut you in the closet too.

  8. That must have been furry exciting morning for you Ducky. No wonder you spent the day in the closet...it must have been quiet....and smelled like the mom bean.

    Have a good weekend!

  9. We don't understand why humans insist on defuriing stuff. We'll just fur it up again!

  10. Ducky, I am so impressed with your adventures! And it's so lucky that suicidal violet didn't try to harm you!
