ManCat Monday

A cat determined not to be found can fold itself up like a pocket handkerchief if it wants to. - Dr. Louis J. Camuti

What a weekend! I had the house to myself, along with all of you who stopped in to remember Derby or to cellybrate my purrthday.

I will spend the day napping and dreaming of good times.

Mum was off playing with racy cars. The event was uneventful, but on the drive home she saw a big SUV off on the side of the interstate rolled over and what looked like a travel trailer it probably was pulling off and turned over too. Purrs that no one was hurt seriously. Mum said she couldn't remember seeing that many emergency vehicles in one place in ages. But it is a trick spot, coming down a longer steep hill, the road was wet and the speed limit is now 70. Mum wonders if they just lost control.

  13. What a tragic ending to a weekend. It always upsets our Mommy to see accidents out on the road like that. Glad your Mom made it home safely.
