Garden Thursday

Hello and Welcome to Garden Thursday with Virginger, Glimmer and Trooper.

Another week and it is Thursday already! Mum says five weeks from today she will be a free woman! Didn't know she wasn't free!
Our Impatients are growing just fine. We have had lots of rain, had over two inches the other night! So stuff is green and growing. Mum says the grass is beginning to slow down a bit with the growing!
Hey Trooper, she is out front keeping an eye on things. She reports mum needs to get at some weeds. Plus the day lilies are starting to show flower buds!
The last few of the pee-o-knees. Mum cut some from the plants and took them into work to enjoy. Says they make a nice smell. But with the rain, most of the flowers are looking past their prime.
That is all for this week. Love ya all. Virginger, Glimmer and Trooper.

  4. Efurrything looks so beautiful! You're all such good gardeners (Mom bean too).

Our mom bean is curious and asks, is the five weeks until freedom mean your mom bean will stay home with you efurryday Ducky? If so...she is incredibly jealous!!!

  6. TBT: I know "free". You are going to love it! But from experience, if you find yourself lacking direction and activity for weeks, don't worry about it. The transition can be odd.

  7. Meant to add: If you find yourself waking up at accustomed times to go to work, don't worry about, turn over in bed, smile, and get more sleep. And you may have dreams about your workplace. Don't worry about that either. I still do after 10 years retired. And you might find some minor physical ailments go away.
