HiYa, Ducky here. Yeah, we have snow, not a lot for us in snow country. In total it was about 8 inches. More is expected this coming weekend!
Plus we got the colds here right now. Bright and sunny, but cold. Me and mum are doing lots of cuddling to stay warms. I do spend lots of time with mum in her sleepy spot. We help keep each other warm on these cold nights.
Mum was just getting up to go fix her lunch when she notice flapping in the back. She caught the one hawk on the branch, then another hawk came by and sat on another branch. Then a third hawk came by but mum didn't get a pic of that one. They were trying to get at a sqwerl! Mum has only seen the hawks previously one at a time. So she was thrilled to see three of them.
Me on mum's lap, soaking up her heat! Stay warm everyone.
We have lotsa hawks here, but no snow. Brrr!
ReplyDeleteSitting on your mum's lap is an excellent notion: you keep warm and you ensure that she is resting. A win/win!

ReplyDeleteWow, three hawks at once. We've only seen one at a time.
How cool to see all those hawks! We see them occasionally here but never in number.
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice to see how you and your mommy keep each other warm this winter!!! Love the hawks pictures. So sharp!!!

Brrrr! Stay toasty there, sweet Ducky and Mum!
ReplyDeleteWe get hawks here also, but they usually go after the small birds. Sometimes they will catch pigeons or seagulls. I hope you don't get too much snow at the weekend, but at least your mum doesn't have to think about getting to work.
