Garden Thursday

Hello and Welcome to Garden Thursday with Virginger, Glimmer, Trooper and Fleur.

A rainy Wednesday afternoon. Mum and Ducky were inside keeping dry. We got nearly 2 inches of rain over 3 hours. The weather guesser says it will be nice now, and dry for the next week. We haven't had more than 3 DAYS in a row of being dry since June 1. Will be nice to dry out.

Last week some guys came to fix our rain gutters. With the rain gutters we can report that they work. No drips, leaking or over flowing! We like that, mum too.

Plus they put on this screening so that the leaves can't get into the gutters. Now mum won't have to pay someone to come clean them out twice a year.
Our flowers, well the purple cone flowers are blooming in the back. Plus mum cleared out some plant that keeps wanting to grow inside our one lilac. Mum will need to cart the brush off soon.
That is all for this week. Love, Virginger, Glimmer, Trooper and Fleur.

  6. We are glad you got some dry days. We have been dancing outside hoping fer rain here though. But we got somne last week and expect more the next 3 days. YAY!

Those gutter covers will be nice. TBT had some put on 3 years ago, and when he checked last week, they were mostly free of "stuff".

  7. Our mom always dreaded the gutter clean out task! Those grates should work fine. The rain is good for your flowers, yes? Looks like somebug has been having a salad of the leaves though!

  8. Yippee for rain and easy-care gutter screens! We haven't had a drop of rain in 42 days with the next 7 looking hot and dry, too. Your coneflower looks just like ours. They could be twins!
