Cats are notoriously sore losers. Coming in second best, especially to someone as poorly coordinated as a human being, grates their sensibility. - Stephen Baker
I am not a loser! I can out run mum, out jump mum. The only thing she is good for is her fingers. Opening food cans and giving scritches.
So happy yesterday, we had lots and lots of sun. First time in over a week. Mum went outside for a bit to get fresh air, then when she came home she opened one of the kitch-hen windows for a few hours so we could get some of the good air inside. Still snow on the ground but it was over 50 degrees.
Sunrise on top and in the sleepy spot room the sun is hitting the window frame and the inside wall. Mr Sun is coming back north!
The outside from the fevver watching chair. So nice to see sunshine on the snow. Makes this so bright!
The Stouper Bowl - KC won and we are happy about that. It was a pretty close game until the last bit where KC took over the game. The half time was lots of booty shaking. Commercials were, meh. We didn't even remember seeing an ad with the Clydesdale's. Did we miss it?
So here we are sitting during the game. So she worked on the crow-shay, eated some chick-hen wings and drank spotted cow. What? You read that right Spotted Cow.
Blankie update, the total should be 23. Mum forgot the one she gave to Miss Lynn! They had lunch on Caturday and Miss Lynn reminded her of her blankie which mum had not counted. So put another one on the list.
Have a wonderful week everyone.
We didn't see a clydesdale one. :(
ReplyDeleteLooks like you could use all of those blankies to keep warm Ducky!

ReplyDeleteI didn't watch at all, Ducky...I read a book with Manny and Chili Bruce sleeping on top of me!
ReplyDeleteWe watched the game too, Ducky...and thought a couple of the commercials were pretty good. Never saw any horses, though.
ReplyDeleteMy mum and her sister were about the only ones here in Chicago rooting for the Chiefs as the Giants quarterback is a local boy. Since they grew up in KC (Missouri, not Kansas! MOL!) they have always been fans.
ReplyDeleteI am impressed at how much your mum crochets. I only have the patience to make small things like cat toys
ReplyDeleteDucky, you don't look impressed with that Spotted Cow stuff. We didn't watch the game and Mom only got through about half the commercials online so far. No Clydesdales yet.
