A kitten is more amusing than half the people one is obliged to live with. - Lady Sydney Morgan
I can amuse too if I need to, mum often laffs at me. I had a nice Sunday napping in the sun. Mum did a few outside things and then tried to read her book. Although she kept nodding off, so she took a nap instead.
One of the outside things she did was to get out the hummer feeder and the oriole feeder. We expect to see these little fevvers in the next few weeks. We want to make sure we have foods out for them when they get here.
Guess who else showed up, the girls have decided to come out of hiding.
Fleur headed out to sit by the crabby apple tree, Virginger, Glimmer and Trooper just decided to sit on top of the storage box.
Have a good week everyone. Stay healthy.
Our garden cats are going out this week too as the weather is dryer and warmer. I hope your fevvers soon arrive. The swallows have been arriving here the last couple of days after their long journey back for the summer. A sure sign that Spring is here.
ReplyDeleteTerrific to see the garden cats outside again.

We get neither hummingbirds nor orioles over here, but #1 always keeps an eye on the feeders, and if there is a need, she fills them up, even through the summer.
ReplyDeleteThat's a sweet (and very mancatly!) pic of you, Ducky!

Ducky, tell your mom that I too have fallen asleep while listening to audiobooks, and must backtrack to pick up the storyline again!
ReplyDeleteThe gang is looking good Ducky!
ReplyDeleteNice to see the girls again.
ReplyDeleteWe hope those birdies show up soon!
ReplyDeleteWe are glad to see that your mum is getting the outside ready. Ducky, we were just like you and your mum on Sunday. We were enjoying some nap time while watching television. Thanks for the share. Have a wonderful day.
