Mini-ManCat Monday

In Istanbul I met a man who said he knew beyond a doubt that God was a cat. I asked why he was so sure, and the man said, "When I pray to him, he ignores me. - Lowell Thomas

We cats don't always ignore people, we just choose our own time to pay attention.

Still cold, but not much snow on the ground. What we can tell is that the daylight hours are getting longer. We have only gained like a minute on our latest sunrise. Sunset is like 20 minutes later and we can still see things around 5 PM. By the end of the month sunset will be later than 5 PM.

Enjoying the morning sunshine, soak up some warms through the window, plus a little time to clean my machine.

Mum caught me in the kitch-hen licking the foil that she had heated up her chick-hen wings for lunch. She was supposed to go to a Packer watching party but that got cancelled cuz of the virus. Maybe next year!

Feetsball Report

The Pack - did not take advantage of the longer season to win their 14th game in a season. They didn't play the first string players all game, so the B team got a chance. Even so they losted to the Detroit Kittens. They already are the number 1 seed for the playoffs, so they partially rested the good guys. Plus they get next weekend off.

I don't like to bring this back but it is needed.

Stay safe, stay healthy, get vaccinated and wear your mask.

  2. Ducky, at least January is flying past (it's already the 10th!), so hopefully the brrr temps will go away soon.
As for the Pack and the Kittens, I purposely took a nap during the game, but when I saw the final score I yelled a naughty word! THAT WAS NOT EXPECTED on our end. Congrats to the Pack for making it into the playoffs.

  3. Thank you Ducky for your friendship and kind words after I ran off the bridge. We go way back on our friendship and hope we will continue to stay in touch. I have found Derby and we have been busy catching up on things.
Love always to you and your family.

  7. Ducky, we love that the sun is staying out longer. We hope you enjoy the nice warmth of the sun when relaxing by the window. Thanks for sharing. Have a great rest of your day and tell your mum good luck to her Packers.
