Mini-ManCat Monday

I value in the cat the independent and almost ungrateful spirit which prevents her from attaching herself to any one. The indifference with which she passes from the salon to the housetop. When we caress her, she stretches herself, and arches her back responsively, but that is because she feels an agreeable sensation, not because she takes a silly satisfaction, like the dog, in faithfully loving a thankless master. Yep, I am an independent kit, I will hang out with mum, sleep with mum when I feel like it. Otherwise I will do my own thing. 

Well, mum goes and does her own thing too and this means racy cars. Plus it was a furry impurrtect race. They were celly-brating their club's 75th Anniversary! Mum has been a member for over half of those years.

The usual pin for the race. Yep that is a kit peeking over the shield. 

Then a big fancy beer stein with the logo. Mum will probably not use this as a daily drinking mug. It will go in with the rest of the anniversary stuff.

Plus mum paid to get an event shirt too! Oh yeah, the nickname of the race is THE CAT!

Plus this is the race they get fed a super good chick-hen dinner. Cooked over all these hot coals on huge rotating spits. Yummy and as usual no leftovers for me.

 Mum went back and look at all of the anniversary goodies she has gotten for the past years. She has lots of drinking cups from the various groups in the area.

Hey, she has enuf glassware for an entire shelf here, she could have quite the drinks party here! Even the big cocktail pitcher!

Yeah, I will just fill up mum's lap now that she is home.
