After scolding one's cat one looks into its face and is seized by the ugly suspicion that it understood every word. And has filed it for reference.- Charlotte Gray
Another week and things are going OK. I thinks the worst of the really cold stuff is gone, but all that white stuff is still outside.
No more stuff to shovel, but mum has to go out and feed the fevvers. With all the cold they eat lots. One day she was putting stuff out and took a funky step and ended up in the snow. She didn't get hurt, but she had to crawl to the seed storage cans in order to get up. She needs help getting up from the snow.
Mum didn't even take any new pics this past week. So recycling last weeks as this is about what I did. Nap, sit on mum during the feetsball game and other times too.
Mum found out she has a new grand neice, born on Caturday. Her name is Luna. She was super excited to start her life she came three weeks early. Mom, Dad and baby all doing well.
Feetsball Report
The Pack - they played well against the Niners, they were even leading for a part of the game. Sadly they losted so are done playing for this season. They did a whole lot better than people, including mum, thought they would. Beware of them next season!
The rest of the playoff teams are set. The Lions will play the Niners. Mum is happy about that.
On the other side the reigning Stouper Bowl champs will play the Ravens.
Overall me and mum had a quiet week. You all have a good week.
I am glad your mum didn't get hurt when she fell in the snow.
ReplyDeleteThe Pack game was a nail biter and I was sad that they lost. :-(
ReplyDeleteWhen the snow covers things up, it's easy to misstep.
ReplyDeleteGlad that your meowmy didn't hurt herself.
We look forward to a warming trend coming, after some sleet, rain, snow, frogs, locusts...
We're sorry about your Mom's fall. Snow and ice can be scary. We hope it warms up soon!

Glad your Mom wasn't hurt when she fell. Our humans have to be extra careful when we are outside in this weather !
ReplyDeleteAnd while your mum was outside in the cold, crawling across the snow to find something to hold on to while she stood up, you - YOU! - were snuggled up in your cat cup toasty warm (and probably purring). What kind of support companion animal are you Ducky?! LOL
