Derby The Red Nosed Reincat

Derby, the red-nosed reincat
had a very shiny nose.
And if you ever saw him, you would even say it glows.

All of the other reincats used to laugh and call him names.
They never let poor Derby
join in any reincat games.

Then one foggy Christmas Eve
Santa came to say:
Derby with your nose so bright,
won't you guide my sleigh tonight?"

Then all the reincats loved him
as they shouted out with glee, Derby the red-nosed reincat,
you'll go down in history!

ManCat Monday

Blessed are the PURR in Heart!

Then we are truly blessed! Mum says we both have been purring lots lately. Maybe becuz we expect Santa Paws to stop by soon. 

Mum finally relented and helped us unwrap our Secret Paw prezzies this weekend. Our partners was Laila and Minchie, from south of the border in Illy-nois.

 All sorts of little packages and with kittie pictures dressed up for the holly-day.

A new nip nanner!. Mum just got us a new nip carrot, so this one will go into the cupboard for the future.

The giant economy size of Greenies! We have never see a package that size, like about two or three times the size of a regular package.

Toys with fevvers!. Derby checks them out, but it is Ducky that actually plays with them. Derby is an old geezer cat, he doesn't play as much anymore.

Mum got a few goodies too. Sweets to eat and little things to mark her spot where she is in her books when she reads. All with kitties on them!

Feetsball Report

The Pack - played the gang from the Steel City. The last time these two teams met was in the Stouper Bowl in 2011 which the Pack won. Today however it was the Steel guys turn. It was a close game and mum thought they might go into overtime. But if Da Bears win tonight, The Pack can close out the season next week at Da Bears, then go home to rest up and heal.

The Broncos  - They beat them Texas guys on Sunday.Mr Peyton set a record of number of touchdown passes thrown in one year at 51. Plus he still has a game to go yet this season. Plus the team has now clinched their AFC West and will get a bye for the first round of the playoffs.

Caturday

Woohoo, the last weekend before Christmouse! We are snug at home, shopping done. Mum went out early today to get foods and books from the library. She even saw the after-math of an accident at one of the main places she had to drive through. Thankfully she is home all safe.

Expecting lots of the white stuff overnight, so good that she is home and we all have foods to eat. Mum is doing some washy stuff including a bit more tidying in the dungeon. Little by little it is looking better.

We are snuggling and have decided the bestest place to snuggle in on the chair where mum keeps here warm outside clothes. Yep, we can both fit here.

We Got Another Prezzie

HiYa, Ducky here.

My sweetie Dora and her mum came through for us and mum with goodies.Just in time for Christ-mouse!

 Yes mum I see that it has Dora's address on the package, hurry up and open the package.

 Yep, we got everything out of the package, so what did we get?

 UK cat toys that have the Union Jack on them.

 Treats that we can't get here in Mericky.

 Something for mum and it is filled with choc-o-lats. Plus a pin from their favorite feetball club, Chelsea. Mum says that is what gets called sock-her her in Mericky, they are pretty good team.

I made a grab for the nip mousie, it is MINE!

 Besides the sweets, mum got a cute pad of sticky notes with kittie pictures on the side. Almost too cute to use.

So at least we got something cool to play with before the big day. Plus it can keep us entertained while mum is off day hunting and going to parties for her day hunting gig. She doesn't stay super late. Long enough to say hello, get some goodies to eat, then come home.

ManCat Monday

Happy Monday guys. Mum is off to day hunt again, like she should today. Said this will be a full week of work, then the next two weeks she will be home more becuz of the holly-daze.

Mum did not get us anything at the Christmouse Market on Friday. Said they weren't selling kittie toys. She did she someone with lots of peacock fevvers, but they weren't selling them. They were just for show.

However, we are getting a prezzie and it is in this box. Mum had to carefully move it inside and then from the front door into the dining room.

 So we checked it out and this is where the box has sat since last week. Mum says she will open it for us next weekend or maybe wait until Christmouse eve to open it for us.

 So we know we are getting something, just not what.

Feetsball Report

The Pack - went to to play them Cowboys and OMC! The Pack was way behind halfway through the game 26-3 and came back during the second half to win 37-36. So again this week there is joy in Packerland.


The Broncos - played back on Thursday and losted. That is OK, they are already into the playoffs.

Just a bit over a week to Christmouse, we is getting 'acited and can't wait to find out what is in the big box and what goodies our Secret Paw sent too. 

Caturday

We made it to the weekend. More of the white stuff falling from the sky. But mum is home and says she has no other place to be today.

Yesterday however she skipped out on day hunting and went off gallivanting with furiends to the Christmas market in a big tent. They were sitting and getting a noon time snack when she took these.

 People come and sell stuff that people might like to buy for prezzies. Mum bought some Al-Packa socks and gloves.

 Plus she got to see two reindeers! Mum wasn't sure which ones they were, no names on the pens, so maybe Donner and Blitzen!

 Once they all got back then mum skipped out to do more running around. Came back with four big bags of foods for the fevvers. They need it today, lots of them stopping by to get snacks while it snows today.

Our Secret Paw Package is HERE!

Our Secret Paw package came arrived today. The guy in the long bloo shorts left it in our box. Mum however hasn't opened it for us. At least not yet. She says she bets she knows who it is from. She won't share than information.

So we may have to wait until closer to when Santa Paws arrives to find out what is exactly in the box.

Mini ManCat Monday

Winter white stuff is back. It started late morning on Sunday, so no sun on Sunday. Mum had gone out and got the weekly foods before it started.

 Just as it started to snow before lunch time and the Packer game started.

This was about 90 minutes later as mum was getting ready to go out and push the excess snow off the feeders so the fevvers can eat.

Mum went out after the feetsball game and cleared off the driveway. But it was still snowing so she will have to clear it again after the snow is done, sometime before she goes off to day hunt.

She hopes the driving conditions improve, lots of accy-dents with metal monsters spinning off the roads and crunching into each other. So bad they closed the roads in lots of places to clean up all of the crashed cars. Lots of peoples got hurt and a few even died, so we are sad for that.

 We will nap and stay warms. Glad that mum was home with us and safe too.

Feetsball Report

The Pack - the long nightmare is over, the won without ARodg! It wasn't pretty and it was only by one point, but it was a win. This is the first time since Oct 27 that they won a game. That is a long time with no wins for the team. Although mum says she amembers way back when they didn't win much like 30-40 years ago! But then she also amembers the glory days of the 1960's.

Grampa Brett - won a championship. Well not by playing but coaching a high school team is Miss-a-slippy. So good for him for keeping bizzy.

The Broncos - The won again with a big score. All the "experts" saying Mr Peyton can't play in the cold. He did pretty good today.

HiYa, Ducky here.

We are doing our best to stay warm. It was so cold overnight I crawled under the covers with mum to keep warms. She appreciated that too, cuz then I make her warmer. We enjoy our time together.

We sent mum out in the cold today to get our stuff for our Secret Paw. She even has boxes to put it into, so she is purrpared once she gets the stuff wrapped.

 Purrs for both Carmine and Jewel at Fur Everwhere. They are fellow Tabby Cat Club Members who are both having some health issues. Go and leave them a few purrs.

 Little Yoko was helped to The Bridge this week. We were purring for her, but the purrs got her to where she has no pain or suffering now.

We will be snoopervising mum again this afternoon as she makes more peanut brittle. Says she has to get enough batches to give away to people for the hollydays. Or watching outside, it is bright and sunny, or perhaps just snoozing the day away.

Now we have to reveal some unknown facts about ourselves. A matter of fact we need to reveal seven, yep, 7 facts on ourselves.Guess we better put our thinking caps on.

1. We are not interested in stuff on the moving picture box. We would rather watch stuff for real outside.
2. We are pretty independent of each other, we sleep by ourselves, the one thing we do together is wrassling or playing THoE.

3. We are to nekkid kitties. Mum does not make us wear collars since we are inside kitties and she won't dress us up with human stuff.

4. We both came from the same shelter, just a few years apart.

5. We both to love to find the heaty spots when it is cold here, but we both have our favorites and it is not the same heaty spot.

6. Ducky likes to sleep on top of mum when it is cold. Derby only visits the sleepy spot for some scritches and then leaves.

7. Derby has never been a big jumper to the tops of the cupboards, Ducky loves to jump on top of things.
