Fang Shui Friday

Restore the spirit, when necessary by eating the right thing. Whatever is in the bowl at a given moment is not the right thing. Sit and stare at the bowl. Eventually someone will offer you something else. Sniff at that, and walk away. Eat it later when they are not looking.

From Fang Shui by Catfucious, Peter Pauper Press, 2002.
Mum sometimes just randomly leaves a treat out somewhere and waits to see how long until I find it and eat it. I know it is there. I am expecting her to feed me by hand, not just leave them out.

Road trip is going great, we have gotten to Mew Mexico so that Lucky and Lux could meet. Now we are on the way to the left coast to visit some of the Catifornia kitties.

Have been teleporting in to the various parties. Lately we sure have been having lots of parties, but that is the fun part. We get to meet more kitties and learn more about each other.

Flower Friday

Yes, we still have flowers!!!! The little rose bush in the front still has a few flowers on it.
You can see the pumpkins in the background and the trees with the leaves turning, so this was not taken in the summer! But it is getting colder here, so this may be the last real flower for a long time.

Oh and I got outside on trick or treat night. Mum thought it was getting late and the ringy bell hadn't gone off for a while. So she let me out of the bedroom, but then one last twosome showed up. She looked around for me, but didn't see me. She opened the door and out I went!!

Well, I didn't get far. She came outside and got me, first by getting my tail, then my scruff and then scooping me up into her arms. Then she gave the little things their treats. But I did get to sniff the cool night air for a minute or so.

Woohoo, the weekend is here. I think there are more get together this weekend. So check the Cat Blogosphere for all of the updates.

  9. Like the orange background ... very autumny. And, your street, very nice.

No trick or treaters at our house, may be it was too cold outside. It was much better being inside.

Hope the road adventure is going well.

  10. Nice try getting outside Derby. I haven't tried for awhile, but I am just lulling my Mum into a false sense of security and then one day when she least expects it.....I will swoosh right past her! Then I will walk down the steps and the walk just out of her reach - I think she likes that, although the words she uses are not very nice ; )

  11. Yeah for you, sneaking out! The nerve of your Momma to give out treats to anyone but you, Smiley Boy!

Yes, Momma worries about Mistrie, but she has done all she can.

  13. I know you know already about it but I want to dare you myself:
    I Dare You!
Yes, It is ME, Anastasia! Karl was thoughtful enough to put the Dare out on the Day of the Dead, so I can come personally! And if you don't accept the challenge, I might just come again and haunt you, Hahahahahahahahaha!

  14. Sounds like you are having a fun road trip, you will have a lot to talk about when you get back. Are you going to be in the area to go to Mr. Hendrix's party tomorrow. I hope so as I will be there and I look forward to seeing you again. I don't have flowers anymore, we have had three nights of frost, the leaves in the trees are almost gone. Cold weather is her now.
