ManCat Monday

Which is more beautiful--feline movement or feline stillness? - Elizabeth Hamilton

Well purrsonally, I think they are equally beautiful. Whether we are jumping or chasing or just having a nap, we are furry beautious creatures.
I sort of scared Grampie yesterday. He was over for the afternoon and dinner time. He and mum had watched the Packers whip the Vikings. Then they did a few things outside. So they came back inside and before dinner, Grampie took a nap on the couch. Now our couch is a recliner too. So Grampie was all reclined out and I jumped on the arm of the couch, then proceeded to give his hand a lick.

Well he wasn't expecting me and sort of twitched and jerked his hand away. Sorry Grampie, I didn't mean to spook you. I even did a walk from one side across both of his and mum's laps earlier in the afternoon. I have even gotten to jumping up and sitting between them.

Today is going to be nice as for mum it is a holliday and she doens't have to go to work. But she says she has work to do here. Like wash her clothes and clean, which means the sucking monster will be out. So I can get some extra mum time. Woohoo.

  1. Yep, ya got to move slowly around the gramps folks. Oh,I stopped by to let you know that there is a new ballot for the soap title. Voting will start Monday at 11:00 am est and end Tuesday at 9:00 pm est. There were so many entries that there are two ballots so be sure to look at both of them but please vote for only one title.

  12. It seems a lot of beans have off today. I never got this holiday off when I worked. Ack.

Enjoy the day with your Mom. If your Mom sits down, I think you should jump in her lap and insist on staying there. She might forget about vacuuming then.

  16. Wow Derby, you sure can stand up tall!

It was a holiday for my Mum too, since Mum did all her chores on Saturday we were able to lie around reading and napping all day - it doesn't get much better than that!
