Mum was all acited this morning and said "INDIGO BUNTING, INDIGO BUNTING, INDIGO BUNTING" and started using the fancy flashy box like crazy! She even called Miss Lynn early with the same message.
Plus mum thinks the racoons were up and got their muddy paws on the feeder. It wasn't that way last night! At least they didn't knock it totally down.
We are now napping while mum gets ready to go outside and do chores. She has some planting to do. We made sure she stayed in bed though for a long time so she got her rests. We either sat on her to keep her in bed or crawled under the covers to get tons of loves and scritches. That is sort of our one on one time with her. It was nice.
Everyone have a wonderful weekend.
That's something new for your bird TV!
ReplyDeleteIt took my human a few seconds to realize what your human meant by "Indigo bunting" - sheesh! You'd think she had never seen ANY bird before! And the bird was right in her face on the picture too.
ReplyDeleteWhen it comes to important things, like Bird TV, she sure can be slow.
Our mom would have been yelling too if she saw one of those birdies on the feeder.
ReplyDeletewe hope you boys were as excited to see the indigo buntings!
ReplyDeleteGreat pic of the two you napping together.

You know when you see a bird or a squirrel and you get so excited your teeth start to chatter and you make all kinds of odd noises? Sure you do. Well, that's what your human mom is doing, too. Human behavior isn't that difficult to interpret! :-)
ReplyDeleteSooooo cayooooote!!!! <3
ReplyDeleteOur mom is all "oohhh what a pretty birdie...look at that gorgeous blue color"!!!
ReplyDeleteWe just wonder what blue tastes like.
What a pretty burd!
ReplyDeleteYou two look so adorable in your beds. What a great place to spend the weekend.
ReplyDeleteRest easy.
XOXO
Oh, you two look so comfy and cozy all curled up like that in your sleepers! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
ReplyDeleteOur Mom was excited to see that the Hummers are here! It has been pretty cool and only now warming a bit!
ReplyDeleteWe had a raccoon and he did knock over our birdfeeder. Mom has it wedged in the branches of a tree ,heehee
Those buntings are pretty. We have not seen those here.
Enjoy your snooze.
