Garden Thursday

Hello and welcome to a winter edition of Garden Thursday with Virginger and Glimmer. We figured out we hadn't reported on all of the summer stuff that happened. So we are back, for now. Girls are entitled to change their minds. Yes we are!

Back in the early part of summer we noticed the wasps were making a nest. They never really bothered mum or us, but mum did ask the pest guy about taking it down. Well that would have cost extra green papers, so mum said she would wait until winter when they can just knock it down.
A couple of weeks after she talked to the pest guy, the whole nest started to fall apart, so no wasps were making this their home.

It is still up in the tree, at least what is left of it. When pest guy comes soon, he can take care of it.

That is all for now. Love Virginger and Glimmer.

  1. Wow, wasps here just make a nest on the side of the house (or sometimes inside the garage... eek). Nothing that large or dramatic. Wow.

  7. That is a big nest. The wasps often make a nest in the trunk of the tree outside our window.

  9. Good thing it fell apart so no wasps would live in it.
