Hi and welcome to Garden Thursday.
We have a new addition to the stuff in the back yard. We have always had a birdie bath, but this year mum bought a heater so the water won't freeze up.
So the boys get to see the fevvers, up close and purrsonal.
Mum puts more water in or if it has snowed, she puts a shovel full of snow in and lets that melt down.
Lots of chittering occurs when they get this close!
Love Virginger and Glimmer.
PS. The boy's Secret Paw package arrived, mum won't let them open it yet!
That's excellent news - bird TV all year round. Well done mum.

Lucky kittehz! All we have is muck, yuck, and gloom around here. Maybe this crazy December weather will stop soon.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your birdie tv, kittehz.
XOXO
How nice for the birdies... and the kitties! ;-)
ReplyDeleteSo thoughtful of your mom-person to get a heater to the birdie bath !
ReplyDeleteXOXO
So close you can ALMOST touch them. You would only *touch* them, right?
ReplyDeleteWe gotta get the wet water in our birdbath! Gotta keep the birdies happy iffen ya want to see them all year.
ReplyDeleteThe water bucket we put out for our friendly ferals gets used by the squirrels, who use it to wash up in! No birds try it...I wonder why...?!?

ReplyDeleteHi Derby & Ducky!!! We are so glad your package arrived. We hope you like all of your gifts. We have been holding off on stopping by your blog to say hello and introduce ourselves because we didn't want it to be obvious that we were your Secret Paws. But now that you know, HELLO!!! We were very excited to have gotten a Secret Paws furiend that we didn't already know. That means more new furiends for us! We will now be following your blog and can't wait to get to know you two better! --Delilah, Sampson, Sophie, Sassy, & Caster

ReplyDeleteHow lucky they are! We get to laugh more often now that the leaves are gone from our closest tree, but even so we don't get birdie closeups like that!
