ManCat Monday

A home is where the cat hair sticks to everything but the cat.

MOL, that is a good one. Now that I am back napping on the pod, it too is getting fur on it again. So all is well.

Me and mum had a nice quiet weekend. She finished reading her big fat book and dropped it off at the library's drop box Sunday evening. It was due today! Now she will read something on her kindle thingy. Oh, her annual reading of Pride and Prejudice that she started last week while she was gone.

Mum did a little bit of cooking, making soup and grilling chicken. Yep I got some of the chick-hen and there is leftovers in the big cold box. Oh and you want to see how to do chick-hen for a few hundred people? Here is how.

Mum said it was delish. They do this every year at this one racy event. The dinner is worth the time it takes to work the event. Plus she found out that the driver who was hurt on Sunday and flown out by helly-chopper is OK. Broken ribs and collar bone, they called in the evac as the guy was unconscious.

Hey, this is my blog, where is MY picture? Dat's better. You need to see my handsome face!
Lots of dark clouds and rumbles of thunder but no bad weather. Mum says cooler air coming, that means open windows and she has work to do outside. That means the girls will be bizzy!

Have a grate week.

  8. Terrific that you got your pic in on your own blog Ducky! Sometimes you've just gotta put your paw down and insist on certain standards.
