Garden Thursday - Farewell Until Spring

Hello and Welcome to Garden Thursday with Virginger, Glimmer and Trooper. This will be our final post of the season. Mum says it is time to get tucked away as the cold weather is coming.

Our burning bush is finally getting red, mum says it seems to be late as others are done and dropped their leaves already.
The four-sith-ia, top and botttom. Still has its leaves but a few of them have changed, at least one one side. Middle of November, our shrubs still have leaves. Even the lilacs still have leaves on them!
Mum clearing out more leaves. She got rid of the stuff that blew off the roof and was just sitting in front of the metal monster room and the front door. Then she raked, by hand, the front of the house to get rid of as much of the honey locust stems. The pic is a bit fuzzy, but all that stuff just clogs up the lawn.

Mum also got the outside Christmouse lights up along the front of the house. No ladders involved here, which is safe for mum. They won't get lighted up until after Turkey Day. Heck, that is just next week!
Here we are for one last pic for the season. Mum got the stuff tucked away in the back too. So we are heading off to stay warm and cozy for the winter.
See you next spring! Love Virginger, Glimmer and Trooper.

  2. We have had a lot of rain and wind over the past few days, so the leaves are falling thick and fast.

    Stay cozy!

  9. Our burning bushes were like that, too. One is just now red while the others have already turned and dropped most of their leaves. Good for you for getting those Chrisymouse lights up already!
