Garden Thursday

Hello and Welcome to Garden Thursday. Hope all of our furiends in Mericky had a good 4th. Your humans too.

We didn't do much yesterday, the hots and humids were back. Mum did amebmer that she had gotten a little fountain that goes in the fevver bath. It runs on sunshine, so mum doesn't need batteries or to plug it in.

Now the first part of the video she had just put it out and it sort of spitted water, but after a few minutes it really took off! So much so that it emptied the bath of water! So mum tried some of the other attachments and found one that just made it bubble some but not so much that it empties the bath. Only bad thing, once it gets cloudy or the sun hides behind the trees it slows down.

Flowers? Yeah we have a new flower or two. Mum just bought this back in May so she is happy she got flowers this year.
Just a couple of days ago, the buds are getting bigger and you can begin to see the flower color.
Same bud a day later. Then bursting into bloom yesterday.
Today we had another bloom open and you can see that there are a bunch more ready to open soon.
To end the July 4th we had natural fireworks of thunder boomer storms. Nothing severe but lots of rummbly noise, but well before we went to bed. But the natural rumbles cut down on the anyone wanting to set off their noise makers.

So that is it from the garden this week. See you soon.

  2. I love the fountain! It's tropical here too; waiting for today's storms to bring the humidity and heat down to tolerable.
