By and large, people who enjoy teaching animals to roll over will find themselves happier with a dog. -Barbara Holland
Trust me, mum is not trying to teach me to roll over. Sometimes when she talks to me I pay attention, usually when she says 'treats'.
Thanks for the nice comments on my backside. I continued to show mum my backside on Sunday. Mum pretty well ignored me most of the weekend. Besides all the time on Saturday, then she was gone over to Grampies on Sunday morning. Then they came home, they paid more attention to the Packer game.
So I filled up my weekend by attending Parker's party on Saturday evening. Then on Sunday I was at the Diva Kittie Holiday Film Festival. Two can play this game lady!
No, mum did not bring home any meat for me to sample from her dinner out. Said she ate everything that was on her plate as you only get served as much as you want to eat. So not like they bring out a huge slab of meat per person. Oh well, I will be just fine, was probably too spicy or icky for me. She didn't take a little bag with her to bring anything home.
There is something seriously wrong with your mom if she could ignore you!
ReplyDeleteGreat back side photo!! Derby~!
ReplyDeleteWhen beans don't pay attention on me, I sing very loud opera~!
Maybe it is a ginger cat thing. My favorite hobby is walking directly away from a camera! The Big Thing is welcome to take a picture of me like that, but he usually doesnt. Gets me out of the flashy light, too.
ReplyDeleteGosh Derby, your butt is quite cute! It was wonderful to have you over this weekend!
ReplyDeleteI agwee with Parker! Cute butt!
ReplyDeleteYes, I can see you are still giving her the ignoring treatment.
ReplyDeleteSigh. When will she learn that you are the center of her universe?
We are glad that you have cultivated your own interests and aren't always at the mercy of her to entertain you. Thats a very Mancatly thing to do!
ReplyDeleteHi Derby,
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my site.
Nice shot of your back side.....

First you gave her the back. Her behavior did not improve. So, now you are in the right to give her the butt.
ReplyDeletePoor Derby . . . I'm glad you kept yourself busy!
ReplyDeleteSometimes we demand attention, especially the attention with treats!
ReplyDeleteOh yeah - when mom makes us mad we give her "kitty butt" too. But she's usually too busy to take a pictures!
ReplyDeleteDerby, I think it's only appropriate that you show your butt when you're being ignored. I use that technique myself!
ReplyDeleteRocky
What is wrong with your Mum?! She needs to get her priorities back in proper order! Poor Derby, her neglecting you like that.
ReplyDeleteHi Derby! It is quite annoying when our beans do not give us the attention we deserve. It seems to always happen around the Holidays. I think you did right but giving her the butt.
ReplyDeleteNothing says "I love you" like a warm backside. Purrs FAZ
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain Derby! The holiday time is always so busy for the beans and they forget that we have a set routine and we like to stick by it.
ReplyDeleteI expect my Mum home at 5:05, not at 8:00 when she comes innocently in smelling of restaurant food, hmph!
