ManCat Monday

The mathematical probability of a common cat doing exactly as it pleases is the one scientific absolute in the world. - Lynn M. OsbandVery true, we kitties do whatever we want. We want to nap, we nap. Play, we play! But her comment about us being common? We are exceptional kitties, not common.

Now mum says "Enough Already". No she is not upset anything with me, but with the never ending snow machine this month. Mum took a few pictures this morning as she once again had to use the snow eating monster.
The front of the house has lots of icy water hanging down. Mum says this is not good and then she needs to bring out a big long pole with an upside down scoop on it to bring the snow off the roof.
You can see the front of the house and the neighbors house and they have raked snow from the roof too to help keep the icy stuff down. You can see mum's footprints from the other day. They almost got filled in by the snow yesterday.
This is the bird bath, mum has not touched this at all. You can see how deep it has stacked up. Sort of looks like a big ice cream cone. Mum figures this is 10-12 inches deep right now. The official TV weather guy says we have a snow depth of 13 inches.
A picture of the front of the house after mum used the snow eating monster and raked our roof as well too. She raked the roof Friday and redid it again on Sunday morning. See anyone familiar in the front window?
The snow making the trees look pretty.
Me, not really paying attention to mum. I was giving myself a bath as I sat in the sun. You know cleanliness is next to godliness.

Derby, stay warm. It looks like you are having one very cold winter! It's been awhile since you've had the never ending snow, hasn't it?

Wow, that's a lot of snow.

It's a good thing we don't have to clean up after a snowfall.

Oh boy, that's a lot of snow :-0 Your Mom does a very good job removing it. That's hard work!

First, I love that quote! Second, yikes! My beans would be very unhappy if we had that much snow. The way I look at it, the snow makes it easier to see the birdies at my bird feeders. I'm glad we're inside kitties when I see pictures like that!

Our snow turned to rain this afternoon. Momma really hates that, it is sloppy, messy. She loves the snow, but says by February is ready for it to leave.

Oh my. It's lucky your mum doesn't have to shovel all that by paw!

That is a lot of snow, all right. I'm glad you have a snow eating monster and your Mom doesn't have to do all the moving by shovel. Stay warm and cozy.

Thank you so much for the kind words about my sister-in-law. They helped me tremendously.

You're entirely right, Derby! We are not common...we're all unique in our own way!

A bath in the sun is the best, isn't it?

It is so beautiful! I'm glad she has a snow eating monster. Still, I'm glad I'm a cat...looks like way to much work.

That's very pretty, but it also makes me very glad we moved away from the place where the evil snow would sneak in during the night and freeze my useless nipples...

Those pictures make it look very pretty - but I know it's *cold!

What lovely pictures! Icicles hanging from the roofies! I get excited because I have never seen snow before. However, you can keep the snow and ice. As kitty, I prefer the warm sun on my back and tummy as I stretch out on the green grass.

It is very cold where you live, Derby. I'm glad your mum is careful to make a place for you to sit in the sun..that way you won't become a catsicle!
