ManCat Monday

To a cat,"NO!" means "Not while I'm looking."

We agree. We know many kitties are told they can't go on the counter-tops but we do. Heck, even if we stayed off of them when mum is around, we could be on them all the time she is gone day hunting or sleeping. We can do what we want.

 On the kitch-hen table.
Stove top and counter.
On the bathroom counter
On top of the tall furniture
Derby inside the cupboard with the cooking dishes.

Mum cooked outside on Caturday evening, first time this year. It was sunny but cold so she had to bundle up while she was outside.
The feast, steak, eggplant, smashed potato and salad, wine. Yes we did get some of the steak, mum wouldn't be so mean to not share. We were good and did not go on the table while she was eating.

Oh yeah, we may get more snow late on Monday. ::sigh:: Winter, please go away.

  2. I do not get why humans have a cow over us kitties getting on stuff in our own houses! It's silly. At least your human shared her dinner - as she should!

  3. We also have free roam of all the counters and surfaces. Don't we have the best moms?

Mom almost "lost it" when she heard snow is forecast for tonight. Chill woman!

  4. As if we should not be any of those places. I mean REALLY.

  5. the reason behind why we go on places where humans say we can't is to snoopervise whether their cleaning is up to snuff, right?

  10. I'm concerned that you might burn yourself if you get up on the kitchen benches near the stove. Be careful!

  11. I never get on any of the counters. I have never even tried to. Eric used to when mum wasn't looking though. The only thing I get on is the writing bureau because the sun shines on it.

  13. We all get up on counters around here - the humans try to get us to stay off of them, but it isn't gonna happen.

  14. You don't go on the table while she's eating? We have been known to trespass during dinnertime.

  15. Wow...your Mum sure has too good on you guys with all those pictures! But really, how can you be expected to stay off the table with that lovely sun pouring in!

  16. We go anywhere too...the mom gave up trying to keep us off of stuff. We just can't be on the counter or table when the peeps are cooking or eating. We can live with that.

  17. Yep, we pretty much go wherever too, except the stove!

  18. We want to live with you guys--my mom never cooks fun stuff like that! Oh, and there are only two places we're really not allowed--the table and the sideboy...although Russell never learned that rule and Elliott's still too new (he says).

  20. Honestly, what do the Humans think we do all day while they're at work or at night while they're asleep??? Pfft. Humans and their "rools"--as if! (That was a super nice present you sent Little Cat Feet!)
