Hello and Welcome to Garden Thursday with Virginger, Glimmer and Trooper.
First off, we are having just marvy weather. A few showers, but mostly sun and the temperatures are nice, up in the 70's, (21C). Not bad for early TockTober.
Mum decided to do something to give us a bit of fall flower color. So she got some flowers for the front baskets.
The look purrty good and hopefully they will stay looking good for a while. That cuz they is fake flowers! Mum took lead from the naybor who does fake flowers spring, summer and fall!
Mum did get some real color too. She did buy a mum, one that has three different flower colors in it.
Mum thinks the ones that are not open yet will be a pinky purple color. So something real with flowers to look at. Below is what it looks like from inside in the reading and fevver watching chair.
Mum did find one tiny spot of real flowers from summer, just a tiny cluster on the butterfly bush.
Happy fall, that is all for this week from the garden. Love Virginger, Glimmer and Trooper.
You have a lovely wee garden to look at, and we are impressed with your warm temperatures. We are looking forward to getting the hots back though - it is now our turn in the southern hemisphere.
ReplyDeleteIt is nice to have some colour in the autumn.Eric's mums are starting to flower now so that should soon make a good display. Our summer bedding is still going strong. It took a long time to get going but should last until the frosts get it.
ReplyDeleteYour garden look so beautiful!!! I love all the flowers your mom put. Very nice job she did. Have a happy fall too. I love this season as well!!!

Those are lovely flowers! Lots of beautiful colour. :)
ReplyDeleteWe love the fall colors, Ducky! Our mom potted up some mums too. We're hoping the deer don't eat them.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty flowers, I love the Fall colors.
ReplyDeleteOur mom's been known to use silk flowers, too. Mainly because if she didn't kill real ones, the heat would!
ReplyDeleteOur Mom uses fake flowers in our window boxes, but only late spring and summer. That is, when she remembers to put them in! Didn't happen this year. Oops! We love your garden and your Mom's garden selections!
