Tuesday This and That

HiYa, Ducky here. Hope all are staying warm. It is actually much warmer around here today. Almost above freezing!

You can see the power of the sun. This was the driveway on Monday morning, almost completely clear. Today with more sun and the warmer temps it is almost all clear. Well, except for right down by the stree.
Me checking out the little Christmouse tree, I even batted a couple of the bells on it before jumping down.

Mum says tomorrow is the winter solstice, which means the shortest amount of daylight. Mum looked at our sunrise and sunset times for tomorrow, 7 hours, 59 minutes! Mum says she is liking being retired, no getting up in the dark or driving home from day hunting in the dark. She can be home and enjoy the sun when we have it.

So cellybrate the solstice, that means you guys in the other half of the world need to send the sun back to us now!

  1. My mum puts bells on the bottom of my tree to bat too. I will be glad when the days start getting longer again.

  2. We have bells on our tree too...so mom bean can hear when Saku goes under it. And then she yells, No Saku!

Thank goodness the cold has gone away. Hope you don't get a pile more snow.

  6. We too are very glad that the days will start getting longer again. In the meantime, we will be power napping!

Our #1 is not retired but since she works at home, she gets some of the benefits of being retired, like not having to go to work in the dark!

  7. You can have it Ducky! Please, take it. I'm a cold-weather person myself, and hate the hot humid summers in Sydney,

  8. Every time a bell rings, some cat is in a tree. That's what our Mom says and if she were there, you'd probably get yelled at, Ducky. But it's okay if you ignore her. We do all the time! MOL!
