ManCat Monday

CAT (n): 1. Furry keyboard cover; 2. Alarm clock

I usually don't lay across mum's puter keyboard, she wouldn't be able to type for me if I did, so I don't do that. I do lay right next to her and make it hard for her to use the mouse. Since she retired and doesn't have to get up early. I am nice and I don't wake her up. She makes sure I have crunchies out so I don't get hungry.

The worst of the hots have done for now. We had some crash boomer storms on Sunday. Lots of wind and rain too for a short time. Cooler now, but still humid. Mum went out to do a couple of quick things and came in quick. Seems the skeeters are all active. Mum was swatting away and killed a few of those blood suckers.
So I hung out in the front window. I can see what is happening outside and when I flip I can check on mum. She has been bizzy with crow-shay hats and reading. Stayed inside and kept cool with the air chiller and fans going.

Everyone have a good week. Mum has to get the grass cutter out to use today. That is her one big chore for the week. Then off to the library. Weren't you just there? Oh, you didn't like the books you got so will trade them in for some other ones and hope they are better. OK.

  2. It is good it is a bit cooler, but I find the high humidity the worst. You have a good viewpoint for inside and outside.

  3. Ducky, tell your mom that I was at the library on Saturday, and yakkity-yakked with the librarians! I love to visit my local library, or any library for that matter. I've even visited the Library of Congress in Washington DC, and that was a thrill!
