Oh Noes - One week on

Dr Ducky here report in on mum. She is doing OK. Hasn't been anywhere since a week ago, other than to carefully get the garbage can down to the curb and back. And a furry brief trip to the back yard to keep the sqwerls out of the peanut feeder.

Mum's foot is less swollen but more colorful! Even her toes are turning purple! She is taking pics of her footy every day to document the changes and hopefully getting better.
Here we were this morning, mum hadn't gotten her longer pants on yet and was just letting her foot out of the boot all raised up. I wanted to lay on it but mum said not directly on the ouchy spot. But I could lay on the top part of the leg. My healing vibes will radiate down the leg to help healing.
She rests as much as she can, her sleeps are choppy as she sometimes has problems getting into just the right comfy position for ALL of her body, not just her footy. So it isn't easy trying to sleep with her as she moves around, moves the pillows around and such. I try my best.

Mum is yawning, she must need a nap.

  11. Yep, those painful ouchies do make a human uncomfortable and confound us cats when we try to heal them! We hope your mom's foot gets better every day. But then we know it will with you as her nurse.
