Yes I am Sassy

I am sassy, yes I know

For my mummy tells me so.

I jump and pounce, and use my teeth.

Causing damage, so to speak.

Yes, I am Sassy

Yes, I am Sassy

Yes, I am Sassy

My mummy tells me so.

(Sing to the tune of Jesus Loves Me)
I love to stalk and pounce on mum. Normally that isn't a big issue. But last night as mum got ready to go to bed I got into pouncing mode. Even though mum saw me and tried to keep away from me, I jumped and got her leg. You can see the damage, not much, but mum says I got a little carried away.

  1. mums get used to a little happy action from us. give her some extra love...and pose photogenically for her.

remind her to use triple antibiotic ointment.

  3. yes, I was thinking that looks like perhaps a nice area for some ointment. that should take care of it.
Your mum should wear protective gear when you feel like pouncing.

  4. Dear Derby,

I thought you were one of those cats that had no claws??? Or maybe you used your back claws.

You seem to be in a mood lately, what with clawing and nipping. What's wrong? Diet? Princess Mia not being good to you?

SlyCat asked me to be his girlfriend, and I said yes. So I am off the market.

    luv,

  5. I think it's the result of delayed spring. It's making all of us nervous.

  11. Maybe you can make up for the bitey by singing your Mom to sleep... or how about some tongue therapy on the wounds?

  12. Derby, it is ok to be sassy I think. I make those marks with my clawrs all the time. I have never broken skin with my teeths before, but I sometimes leave deep impressions from my fangs! I like to make those little teeth marks. I hope you didn't get in trouble.

  13. After they calm down once you've pounced, just go and be nice and wash their wounds. Works every time.
