Things with Wings

First lots of gets well soonest wishes for the babybean. Lots of healing purs for her and her family.

Here are some of mum's pictures of stuff with wings. First race cars that have wings on the back. See how they drive right by where she is taking pictures. This is what she calls playing in traffic. They check the people to make sure they are belted in the car, helmets and gloves on before they take the cars out and go fast. Then we have a bunch of butterfly pictures that she got too. Some in our garden, and some at the race track one weekend. Looks like the same type of butterfly. Mum doesn't know exactly what kind of butterfly it is. A couple of bees, one bumble on the front and what looks to be a honey bee off to the right hand side.

Mr Cardinal dropped by to get a drink of water this evening. Mrs C dropped by too for a bath and a bite to eat.
The some of the other birdies stopped by to get food and even Mrs Goldfinch is still working on her nest. Mum has put out three of these nesting material ball this year. The whiles she was out with the fancy flashy box thing, she saw more movement over by some other flowers. Maybe another butterfly as it is by the flowers they like. But no, it was not another butterfly, but a hummer bird.!!!!!!!
Look at the neat pictures that mum got. The first one is just the enlarge picture of the hummer near the thistle plant. These next pictures the hummer was by the orange flowers. Mum has the original picture followed by the enlarged and cropped picture of the hummer. You can click on the pictures to biggify them to see the little birdie. Mum was furry excited that she got these pictures. She wishes they were clearer, but this guy moved fast. Even with the camera that can take fast pictures it was hard to catch the guy. But at long last she at least got a few pictures. Now maybe she can get some really good ones, that are even clearer.

  8. Derby, our mom is kinda envious of your mom's garden! She wants pretties like that...but she doesn't have much time anymore. Maybe 30 squillion years from now.

Are you getting lots of rain? We've had thunderboomers every night since Sunday.

  11. Derby, your Mum is a furry good picture taker. It is furry hard to get a picture of a hummingbird because they move so fast. My Mum says she has lots of pictures of scenery where the hummingbird used to be because by the time the camera clicked they were gone!
