ManCat Monday

Cats have incredible vision - but they never see your flaws - Anonymous
I'm not so sure about not seeing mum's flaws. She doesn't give me enough treats, sometimes disturbs my sleeps and all. But I love her anyway.

I will be having extra mum time today. She is taking the day off to do all sorts of stuff at home. There is a guy out in the metal monster room making all sorts of noise. I keep talking to him but he doesn't answer. Mum is busy with washing.

  1. Such nonsense. We see plenty of faults, but we're very forgiving.

  2. You're very lucky to have extra Mom time!

What is the man in the metal machine doing? I hide under the bed when I hear strange noises or people.

  6. um, i see faults. maybe they just mean we are to polite to comment (much) on them...

guess what? my mommy has lotsa field guides too and one is the "Birds of Ohio"!

we also participate in the GBBC yearly and have done project feeder watch. Mommy and I sit quietly in the window while she counts. it is very exciting to have her scritching me while i watch "reality TV"

  7. What is the guy doing in the metal monster room? We see mom's faults too, but if we comment on them too much, she might take away treat time and that would be horrible.

  14. You mean your human didn't make you put your paw print on a waiver when she adopted you? We all had to swear never to reveal anything too embarassing...it's a part of the deal.

  15. You are very kind to overlook your mum's significant flaws, Derby. But then, you are a cat, and cats are special that way... :-)

  16. Oh, I think you kitties see our flaws, you just like to snigger about them among yourselves, rather than point them out to us. Extra Mom time is a good thing. I also whey there is a man in the metal machine room making noise.
