Wow, what a fantastic party last night. Some of the kitties partied into the wee hours of the morning! ::YAWN:: We had a good time in spite of the fact that Blogger didn't work for nearly 4 hours. Again a big thank you to the Hot(m)bc group for the live journal site to keep the party going.
However, I found out late last night we missed someone with an October gotcha day. Bathsheba she and her brofur Jake live in Virginia.
I see the caterer has the morning food out for us. Some cats are up and about, others still napping.Everyone, dig in. Feel free to stay around and teleport home whenever you think is best.
I am tired, it is time to nap some more.
*peeks ofur at the breakfast buffet*
ReplyDeleteMunchies! Shrimpies!
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
*goes to munch*
~~ Mini
Derby and Derby's mom - we just want to say fank you for such a great party. We hadded such a good time. The food was fantastic, and the tub hockey was great, and the bouncy fing was the funnest of all! Fank you so much! - Sammy and Miles
ReplyDelete*looks up frum the food and waves to Sammy and Miles*
ReplyDelete~~ Mini
We came by to say thank you, Derby and Derby's mom. It was a wonderful party, you guys sure know how to throw a bash. We are especially thankful that momma says she will get us a bloggie now, efun tho she says it takes her two days just to reed efurryone elses!~Zippy, Sadie and Speey
ReplyDeleteOh, Speedy says if you see Bonnie today to tell her he's furry sorry he didn't see her on the chair and almost sat on top of her. Sometimes he's such a clod. A cute clod, but a clod~Sadie
ReplyDeletehehehe Okies Speedy :)
ReplyDelete*waves to him n Zippy n Sadie*
*tip-toeing between slumbering kitties* Fi? Lando? Time to hop home.
ReplyDeleteThanks Derby and Derby's Mum for the fabulous party. I think the little ones wore themselves out on the bounce-o-rama yesterday.
Happy Birthday all!
Fi- Hay, someone's fluffie butt is in my face. Oh, that's ok Boni. I didn't recognize you - I thought you were DK
Lando - dude, I need a hit of some carrot juice.
DK - thanks again Derby, come on fluffies DKM said we need to be home for her mid-morning snuggle. Bye all!
Mid-morning snuggle sounds good :)
ReplyDelete*waves and wanders to find Mom*
Good Morning Whiskonsin! Wow, what a nap! Am I too late fur breakfast?
ReplyDeleteOoof. That chair wasn't quite as comfy as my puter chair, but I slept well, cept fur when Speedy almost sat on me. He's always in such a hurry!
ReplyDelete::YAWN:: Hi everyone. I see that a few guests have teleported home. Others are enjoying Sunday brunch. The good news is that we actually have a little sun on Sunday. Yay.
ReplyDeleteDerby, that was a wonderful dance last night. Did you get any snow? We got maybe an inch, and it's stickin round on sum surfaces.
ReplyDelete{crunch munch munch crunch} Mornin Derby! Great brunch... haf sum fish.
ReplyDeleteNo snow hear Bonnie. That big thing called Lake Michigan keeps us just a little warmer. So just rain. That was a good dance last night.
ReplyDeleteHmm, maybe just a little turkey for now. All of the food has been so good this weekend.
Hmmm. Later on, you get "lake effect" snow an our lakes keep us warmer! Why do the beans let the whether be so weird?
ReplyDeleteMmmm, ham, fish, turkey, shrimp... {burp} Oh, scuse me!
ReplyDeleteNot so sure that the beans can control the weather. I supposed they would like to.
ReplyDeleteWell, when we cats are in charge, we will improve weather along wif a lot of ofur fings.
ReplyDeleteI just want them to get rid of the snow. It's evil, I'm sure of it.
ReplyDeleteMorning everyone!
*yawn*
Hey Derby, this has been a Great party! You're the bestest cat!
Jack, where do you lif again? Any snow there today?
ReplyDeleteI live wa-a-a-y up north. There's no snow though. There was a few days ago, the day the OTW went out hunting all day and brought me the fresh guts and eyeballs and fev-ver boa. But it was all gone the next day. Silly human, going out on the WORST day to go hunting.
ReplyDeleteIt's even got warm enough to open the balcony door so I can go out and sniff.
Derby and Derby's Mum - thank you so much for being such a good host and hostess and for throwing such a wonderful party. and, happy birthday and gotcha day to all the October poodins!!
ReplyDeleteJack, yur Canadian, eh? My beans haf visited Vancouver an Sault Ste Marie an Toronto.
ReplyDeleteHi, Edsel! How are you?
{crunch, munch} Hi Edsel! Try the shrimp; it's wonnerful. Derby's mom musta found the BESTEST kitty caterererer efur.
ReplyDeleteI lived in Vancouver right before we moved up here. It was really really nice. It only snowed a couple days a year, so I could go out on expeditions all year, since I don't mind rain so much unless it's really lots, meh?
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm strictly an indoor cat, but the basement gets so cold in winter. I suppose our snow's not too bad, but I purrfur sunshine. We'll haf snow covering the grass from Dec to March. Ick!
ReplyDeleteHi Derby & DerbysMom,
ReplyDeleteThis was such a fantastic party. You really put so much effort into it and it is the most lavish party we've ever been to! We especially liked all the servants you had around! Thanks for fitting our gotcha days in at the last minute too. We think Scouts gonna sleep for a week!
Hello, SS&S. Scout, maybe you can get Victor's piggy face out of the buffet?
ReplyDeleteOH! The buffet is still open? -Shaggy
ReplyDelete*waddles over*
Oh, dear, now we've lost Shaggy in the buffet wif Victor.
ReplyDeleteI'm an indoor cat too, though the OTW accompanies me on expeditions to the Out every few days. Except when it snows. I won't step on snow, and she doesn't like cold.
ReplyDeleteShe says it's all the Big One's fault we're up north. She says he's part polar bear, but I don't think he's furry enough to be part bear. He growls a lot though.
I prefer the sun too, but we get really good sunspots in the morning 'cause my apartment faces east.
It's not so bad up here. Except for all the vishus deer....
Oh, no, not vishus deer! Haf you actyoully seen them?
ReplyDeleteOh, no, not vishus deer! Haf you actyoully seen them?
ReplyDeleteThat's so upsettin, I repeated myself.
ReplyDeleteYeah, they're all over the place.
ReplyDeleteWe live in a river valley and the town is only a few streets wide on either side of the river. We live just by the valley ridge at the edge of town, and they come down at night to hunt on the lawns and empty lots.
I'm safe though, I live on the third floor and they can't jump as high as my balcony.
We have Elk too, which are like really big deer, and the OTW says we even mooses (not Moose the cat) which are like ginormous deer that are bigger than the big gold machine they sometimes take us in.
I haven't seen a moose though. Which is good, because they could swallow the biggest cat in the world in just one gulp!
My woman saw a moose in Canada. They tooked a trained monster from Sault Ste Marie to Hearst and back, and she sawed the moose standin in a lake.
ReplyDeleteDo you haf a can of Rocky & Mao's Vishus Deer Repellant yet? Sounds like an essential where you lif.
ReplyDeleteMy human sees them occasionally when she leaves town.
ReplyDeleteShe saw one in Jasper too. That place you said your mom went to. I didn't. We drove through Jasper when we moved up here, but I was hiding.
No, I don't have a can of vishus deer repellant. I should probably get one though. Maybe spray the balcony with it just in case.
ReplyDeleteBut I have Hreinarsbana, my sword, so at least I'm protected.
Jasper, or Hearst? The trained monster follows its tracks back an forth atween Sault Ste Marie an Hearst alla time. Beans call the tracks "rails". Short for "trails?" Beans talk weird.
ReplyDeleteAhhh, yes, yur fierce Viking sword. My woman's former boss built a Viking ship an sailed it from Duluth, MN to New York and to Norway. It was called Hjemkomst.
ReplyDeleteHey, mom says she's heard of the Hjemkomst. We are in Minneapolis so it was in the paper here & they followed the voyage. I don't think I'd like sailing though! -Scooby
ReplyDeleteJack, what does yur sword's name mean? Hjemkomst means Homecoming.
ReplyDeletemmmmmm fancy feast----
ReplyDelete*gobbles down food*
SS&S, my woman werked wif Thomas Asp, son of Robert Asp who started the project. Tom was part of the crew on the 72-day voyage. That was 1982. They werked togefur about 5 years, '95 to '00. He's an lectrical engineer. Interestin bean.
ReplyDelete{Crunch, munch, lifts face from buffet} Hey, Lil' One! Ready to play some more?
ReplyDeleteLil One Freya!!!!!!!! Lets RUN! _Scout
ReplyDeletenaw, im tired. i spent all morning cornerin' a reel life mousie at home, an then I built a pillow fort.
ReplyDeleteJasper, I don't know where Hearst is. OTW just shrugged when I asked. She'd been to Sault Ste Marie though. She says Canada is really big. Bigger even than American and she doesn't know where everything is, but we could look it up on a map later. She also said later she'd find a map to put on my blog so I could show all the kitties where I am.
ReplyDeleteHreinarsbana means Reindeer's bane. Reindeers are a special type of deer up north.
Oh no! I just realized! Santa's sleigh is pulled by reindeers!!!!!!! Do you think Skeezix knows?
Our daddy is an electrical engineer, Bonnie! We don't know what that means. Is that the same boat that is in a special museum in Moorhead Minn? Thats near where my mon & dad lived when they were kids.
ReplyDeleteI was sooo busy i forgots to eat, so, Im gonna pig out a bit at the buffet...if theres much left.
ReplyDeleteWell Shaggy is attacking the buffet right now.....get in while you can! -Scooby
ReplyDeleteHi guys. Sorry I have neglecting you. Grampie came over and I figured that I better be seen for a while.
ReplyDeleteYep, same ship. My woman werks fur an lectrical engineerin consultin firm. Uh-huh. But she werks wif economists rather than engineers. Whatefur. They help the lectric company predict how much lectricity beans will use to keep their puddins happy.
ReplyDeleteScout, I'm ready to play if you are!
ReplyDeleteYeah Victor!! Are there any fevver-butt mousies around here? Otherwise we can run & rassle. -Scout
ReplyDeleteI don't believe it. Lil'One is tired?
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, mum has a whole bunch of them mousies around. Let me scare some up for ya.
ReplyDelete*moves on to the ham after drinkin some water*
ReplyDeleteWe thought it was the same boat that mom heard about. She & Dad are from farther up north, Grand Forks, ND.
ReplyDeleteDad works at Honeywell, designing stuff like altitude thingies and stuff that can read different types of land terrain on military jets. It puts stinky goodness in the cupboard, so even if we don't unnerstand it, we go along with it. -Scooby
Oh ms. derby it's been one heckava morning tween the reel life mousie, my fort of pillows and steering mom away from 'doption day at the pet shop (I don't want any brofurs or sisfurs!)
ReplyDeleteMfrmrmmf. I'm stuffin my face too coz I slept so long I feel like I jus came out of a cave.
ReplyDeleteBB
Ugh. Beau Beau yur such a pig.
Angie
Oh Lil One....mom goes to those things at the pet store too, and comes home all sad for having to leave all the kitties there. Dad says 3 are enough.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, mum knows someone who worked at Honeywell. Was former Air Force pilot, then worked with Honeywell for years. I thinks he might be retired now.
ReplyDelete{pounces Scout} Gotcha!
ReplyDeleteYeah, my mom came home smellin like kittens yesterday, but she's mine, an anyway, Bonnie an Dad bof say NO MORE CATS. He efun says one was enuf, but he loves me, too.
**Burp*** - Shaggy
ReplyDeleteGreat spread you've had all weekend Derby! You are a fantastic host!
Lil'One, you call me Ms. Derby. I am a boy cat, so it would be Mr. Derby.
ReplyDelete**burps too, figuring since the big cat did it...*
ReplyDeleteBeau Beau! You made it! {Pounces Beau Beau into the buffet}
ReplyDeleteOops!
Thanks Shaggy. This has been a good weekend. I figured we need a good long blow out for our group. Some of our parties aren't long enough for everyone to drop in, since we have to keep our beans on schedule.
ReplyDeleteUhoh....Sorry MR. Derby!
ReplyDeleteI guess I don't know much about boys an gurls yet....
*covers her face with a paw in shame*
Beau Beau and Angie. Beau, didja see your thingy yesterday for the ceremony?
ReplyDeleteVIC-TOR! Angie, come sit ofur here wif the mature cats.
ReplyDeleteThat is OK Lil'One. Just wanted to let you know. Not that I have any boy equipment to do anything.
ReplyDeletethe only boy I know round here is moms Pet Man, efurybody else are girls.
ReplyDeleteThat's a nice Viking Ship. OTW knows some people who work with one in Vancouver call the Munin, and she has one of her own, but it's lots littler. Too little even for a cat to sail on. She says it's from someone called Playmobil.
ReplyDelete"scuse me Bonnie, I'm going to pop over to the buffet before all the food is gone. I'll be back in a bit
This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.
ReplyDeleteOh Lil one there is so much to learn when you are young! Derbys all boy, thats for sure. And he does a good job protecting his mom!
ReplyDeleteI could give you burp lessons Lil One. The secret is eating, eating & eating. All you can hold. -Shaggy
ReplyDeleteThat just makes me barf. -Scout
Gotcha! *goes back to eatting*
ReplyDeleteBonnie barfs alot, too. Vet lady said she should haf less food more often. I'm all fur more often, but less? YIPES!
ReplyDeleteShe's gotta barf, after all, the big stars eat an barf, and bonnie is a big star right? So shes just gotta. makes sence to me.
ReplyDeleteNo Derby I didn't see anything. Musta been playing in the tub too long. There was so many fings to do I jus kep playin an *oooffff* hey Victor! *wrestles Victor ofur an gives him a good arm around*
ReplyDeleteScooby is a barfer too! He wolfs down his food and then up it comes. He does better eating a little here & there.
ReplyDeleteHI BEAU & ANGIE
Um, well, that's one excuse. Maybe that's why she's such a... {whispers} drama queen.
ReplyDelete{Wrestles Beau Beau} Hey, bro, haf you grown agin?
ReplyDeleteHey SSS! I'll slow down eatin so I can eat normally wif efurryone.
ReplyDeleteSlurrrp.
BB
mom leaves my crunchies out all the time, and i like that a lot! *watches victor and bb*
ReplyDeleteI HEARD THAT. I might not eat so fast if I wasn't in constant danger of bein pounced by that... cowcat.
ReplyDeleteYep, crunchies out alla time is the bestest, but I still LOVE gettin hand outs frum Mom. Anyfing she's eatin, I want sum. But not the banana she ated last night, that just looked wrong.
ReplyDeleteBeau Beau, then go back and readed what mum said about you in the ceremony.
ReplyDeleteWell, bonnie looks like a star to me. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lil' One. Just remember that stars don't like to be pounced by their adorin fans.
ReplyDeleteOh, I am sooooo tempted to pounce Bonnie now! She's just ASKIN fur it. {pounces Scout}
ReplyDeleteThats ok, I'll do plenty of Victor pouncin' fur ya. I can be yer body guard :) *Fluffs up to look scary* see? Victor wont pounce you now :)
ReplyDeleteHmmm. Nice back arch, tail floofy. Claws out, and you look... scary but cute. Unfortunately, SOME cats don't understand that body language.
ReplyDeleteHEY! *Pounces back** -Scout
ReplyDeleteAh-ha! {pounces Lil' One} Oh, yeah, I'm scared!
ReplyDeleteEEPS! Ya big oaf! *wrastles*
ReplyDeleteI don't know WHAT to do wif that boy. I growl, I hiss, I swat, and he just meows at me. So I run off, and he gets his way. {hangs head in shame} Sum attack tabby I am.
ReplyDeleteOh thank you for hosting such fantastic party. I'm glad that Sanjee's mom could take over when blogger went down. It was a furry nice party.
ReplyDeleteBonnie *says between mouthfulls of victor fur* Ya needs to grow bigger, then he wont mess wiff you.
ReplyDelete{Wrestles with Lil' One and Scout} Whhhhooooo-hoooooo! Rowr. {jumps away and runs to tower} Race ya!
ReplyDelete*jumps up and chasses victor* Thats right, run away scardy cat!
ReplyDeleteFreya, I'm 9 and a half years old. I'll only get bigger if I eat too much, and I'd hate to ruin this body. Off the record, I'm a perfect 11 lbs 10 oz.
ReplyDeleteVictor!! Lets go dude! -Scout
ReplyDeleteYes, I am furry happy we ended up with an alternate site. Maybe our party maded blogger go buggy! It has been a good party.
ReplyDeleteWe was awful wild. Maybe we crashed blogger!
ReplyDeleteBonnie you look perfect. I am working on taking after you and chasing Cheysuli around and getting after her a lot...
*climbs up the cat tower and stakes out a piece of proprety to guard*
ReplyDeleteBonnie, I feel the same way about that little intruder Scout. I hiss at him everytime he comes near. I swat him too, but he keeps coming into my personal space just to annoy me. And I run from him when he jumps me. -Scooby
ReplyDeleteBonny *waves from the cat tower* Wanna join me up here? I can keep the boys away cause i'm getting big at 5 lbs 6 ozs!
ReplyDeleteI'll stay down here, Freya. Scooby, that's zactly what I do.
ReplyDeleteHey, Scout, gotcher tail!
ReplyDeleteOk, I'll lure em away then. *dangles tail, twitching, like a fishing lure....*
ReplyDeleteOoooo, pounce-n-chase! Can I play!
ReplyDeleteVictor tried sumfing new recently. He sits in front of me an when I growl an put my ears back, he just meows softly. Then I growl louder, an he tries to... pat me! But I run off afore he can touch me. No touchy!
ReplyDeleteVictor....Lil one.....you're gonna get it when you least expect it........ -Scout
ReplyDelete{Bites Lil' One's tail} sure Jack, we're attackin the tower.
ReplyDeletereaches down and lightly whaps victor on the head* Gotcha!!!
ReplyDeleteBonnie...lately Scout has been flopping on his side in the submission pose, but he's just faking because he rolls over then jumps on my back & tries to ride me. I run away yowling. Brat. -Scooby
ReplyDelete*puts the bitey on the cat tower.*
ReplyDeleteVictor nefur gets on my back {shudder} but sumtimes we wrestle until I can get away. I run down the hall hissin, an he chases me! Only when I find sumwhere safe to defend myself, can I turn an swat. Then he shrugs an walks away.
ReplyDeleteI don't know WHAT I'd do if he jumped on my back!
mbackpacks
ReplyDeleteignore that LOL!
ReplyDeleteMeOOOOOOW! Tower assualt!!!
ReplyDelete*races over and reaches up to whap at lil' one*
{Tries to bite Lil' One's paw} ararararrrrrr
ReplyDelete{digs 4 sets of claws into tower and waves booshy tail}
Back packs? Hmmm. Good hidin spots, but I purrfur places I can still see out of, like boxes.
ReplyDeleteJumps down on victor*!
ReplyDeleteAhhhH! {Flops on top of Lil' One}
ReplyDeleteI got you good, cooty boy! *rabit kicks*
ReplyDeleteScooby, you get along ok wif Shaggy, doncha? How's that werk?
ReplyDeleteGood! Vistor, distract her! I'll take the tower!
ReplyDelete*Jumps up on to first level of tower*
{Grabs Lil' One and rabbit kicks back} Who you callin cooty boy?
ReplyDeleteOh no! Thats muh tower!*tries to squirm away from victors bulk*
ReplyDeleteHey! The Viking's takin the tower! Let's get him! {leaps at Jack's tail}
ReplyDeleteGrabs victores back foot and puts the bitey on it.*
ReplyDeleteLeaps away, then pounces on victor again*
Take that!
"Bulk"?! Hey, I weigh more than Bonnie, but only a few ounces. An she's the one who "fills her skin". {attacks tower}
ReplyDeleteWHEN will they GROW UP?! Children.
ReplyDeleteClimbs up over victor and tries to rach for Jack*
ReplyDeleteI'm storming the fort!!!
ReplyDeleteBonnie.... Shaggy & I are brothers from the same litter. We've always been together.
ReplyDeleteLet's get Jack! Arrrrrrrrrrr
ReplyDeleteUm, but, well, you look so... different? I mean, my littermates we tabbies an tuxies, but we all had simlar fur.
ReplyDeleteDefend your self Mr. Jack!
ReplyDelete*Sneaks up behind Jack and bear hugs him*
ReplyDeleteWell, our white markings are the same, in the same places. The theory is I take after one parent & Shaggy takes after the other. Another theory is that there were 2 daddy cats. Mom looked it up and found out that is possible. Not to say my kitty momma was anything but the most respectible lady, but......
ReplyDeleteShaggy & Scout get along great, They eat & nap & play together & groom each other. I just can't stand the little twerp.
*yawns suddenly*
ReplyDeleteOkies...I think its nappy time for me.
*climbs to a higher shelf and sprawls on it.*
Ah, yes, the two speed of a kitten. Go an off.
ReplyDelete{pounces Jack} But I's still got nergy.
The beans keepin my mother had anofur litter from a farm, abandoned, and tried to haf my mother take care of them too, but she didn't fall fur that!
ReplyDeleteDamn. Dread Pirate Blogger got me.
ReplyDeleteDistracted me from Lil' one's attack.
I'll get you next time my pretty!
As for you, Victor!
*Pounce*
Hey everyone, we're gonna take off!
ReplyDeleteThanks for everything Derby.
And thanks everycat for the great time visiting & eating & playing!
Off we go! Bye!
Nefur steal a pirate's booty.
ReplyDeleteBye, SS&S! See ya later.
SS&S, Good seeing you agin. And Scooby, good luck wif the little monster!
ReplyDeleteBye SS&S,
ReplyDeleteGuess it is just mainly Whiskerconsin kitties lefted. Short teleport home.
ReplyDeleteI gotted trapped by Grampie. I wandered in the bathroom with him. He didn't see me and closed the door. But then I could shred the TP. hehehe.
ReplyDeleteAn Jack! He's Canadien.
ReplyDeleteDerby, does yur mom need us to leaf? Maybe we should start helpin to clean up.
Oh, Derby! How awful! There's been a lot of that goin on lately. Timmy in the litter room; Buddy in a closet. No doors should EFUR be closed.
ReplyDeleteNo you can stay. And we have extra staff to clean up. Mum has been doing a few things in the kitchen. Makin' herself something to eat.
ReplyDeleteTP shreddin? I nefur tried that. I just knock stuff into the sink. Or onto the floor. An then there's that highly pluckable plant...
ReplyDeleteDoesn't she like the food on the buffet? There's only a little cat hair in it... Shaggy, I fink.
ReplyDeleteWell mum keeps the door to the half bath closed all the time. Just so I won't go in and shred the TP. But mum could hear my tags jingle and didn't see me. So she checked all of the doors that had been opened and closed. Like closet.
ReplyDeleteShe wanted to make a cass-a-role that she can divide out for lunches for work. Something warm to eat. We don't eat warm food.
ReplyDeleteA Pirate?
ReplyDeleteVikings were pirates before pirates were pirates!
It's my booty now!!!
*I* do, whenefur I can snag sum. Closed doors are just askin fur truble. The rule fur our bafroom is, door open, lid down.
ReplyDeleteJack! {pounce} Ahoy, matey! Argh.
ReplyDeleteSmart beans plan ahead fur their meals. My woman says the leftofurs frum dinner are a lot better than what she can buy near werk, an cheaper.
ReplyDeleteMmmm... Dad's got the crock pot goin.
ReplyDeleteMum thinks that too and she even has a calf-a-terria at work. It is expensive, too much food and not as healthy. A good salad costs over $5.
ReplyDeleteWhat a waste of money. They should use the difference for crunchies and Temptations.
ReplyDeleteDid sumone say Temptations?
ReplyDelete*paw hug and neck scruff bitey and roll over*
ReplyDeleteArrr!!!!!!
Jack, so where are you from In Canada?
ReplyDeleteDerby, Jack's hafin so much trouble wif the Dread Pirate Blogger, I don't fink he can tell us. Of course, if Victor would let go, maybe Jack could catch his breath!
ReplyDeleteOk, blogger is still being weird. Bonnie, your beans are into trains. Have they ever gone on the steam engine trains in Boone, Iowa?
ReplyDeleteFar up north in Alberta. At least now.
ReplyDeleteI used to live in Vancouver, which was nice, because there was hardly any snow, so I could go into the Out all year and be safe from the evil snow. though there were vishus deer near the last place I lived.
Before that I lived in Toronto, which has lots of evil snow, but I didn't go Out much because there too many kitty-squishing machines in the Out
I went back home for a few minutes this morning to check on my OTW and instructed her to find some maps of where we live and all the types of vishus deer we have so I can post them in my blog in a day or two. If you come by you can see for yourself the dangerous place we moved to.
Alberta, there is a kittie named Alberta and she lives in Florida.
ReplyDeleteNo, not Boone, Iowa. But the boy and my man drove to the "Quad Cities" recently to see three steam engines. Two are frum China. My woman's mother lived in Toronto as a child. An my woman's grandfather was pursident of a soybean processin plant down on the waterfront. Not there now. That was in the 40s or 50s... many, many cat lives ago.
ReplyDeleteJack, Derby lives purty close to us, like a couple hours in the 4-wheel monster. I don't mind ridin, but Bonnie would go crazy... oh, wait... too late! She's already crazy!
ReplyDeleteThat's REALLY far from me. I've never been there. The Big One lived there for a little bit before he found my OTW. He was once had by a cat named Omaha, and he lived in Toronto.
ReplyDeleteSilly humans.
Hmmm, mum needs to find some information and send it away to you. You can even ride in the train with the engines pulling the train. Mum was borned near there.
ReplyDeleteI don't finks Bonnie is that crazy. She's jus a little a'centric maybe.
ReplyDelete~Angie
Fank you, Angie. An Derby, that would be interesting if you find the information. My beans will drive an drive to see a silly train. They should just stay home an serve us.
ReplyDeleteWul, if I was her, I wouldn't hiss at Mom an Dad. They're our beans, an shouldn't be hissed at.
ReplyDeleteMaybe hissing is anofer way of saying I loves you. Hee hee maybe she's sayin she loves YOU Victor! *Angies runs away quick*
ReplyDeleteBonnie, here is the website. http://www.scenic-valleyrr.com/ Boone & Scenic Valley Railroad.
ReplyDeleteOTW has been telling about some kitties that live kinda near me. But I haven't met them yet.
ReplyDeleteExcept Magoo, Smudge, Bella & Dolce from the House Panthers. I don't know exactly where they are though.
Oh, Angie! Come back here an let me show how much I love you!
ReplyDeleteActyoully, sumtimes Bonnie hisses an Mom says, "I love you too, Bonnie."
Oh, there's music on the site. The woman says the railroad... rings a bell... pun intended. Shesh.
ReplyDeleteMaybe they have checked out the railroad and just haven't gone. Plus the area has the highest TWO tresle railroad bridge in the world. It goes over the Des Moines River.
ReplyDeleteJack, haf you been to Magoo and all's website? They's in Alberta sumwhere. Fourfurrycats.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteBeau and Angie, you are back!
ReplyDeleteHmmm. Near Ames. Do you know how long a drive that is from Madison? My woman has been to Cedar Rapids, then they flew to the ofur side of the state in a furry small plane.
ReplyDeleteOh, no! Dinner's almost ready an Dad needs the table. I's gotta watch them eat. It's always good stuff frum the crock pot.
ReplyDeleteFank you again Derby fur such a great party. I hads lotsa fun playin wif friendly cats and the food was grreat. See ya all round the blogsphere! Take care of yurselves an yur beans.
Oh, we haf to sign off, but the microwave blocks the wireless. Good night, efurryone, an thanks so much to Derby an his mom. See you all around.
ReplyDeleteI would say about 6 hours. It takes 5-6 hours to get from our place to my aunt who is just past Waterloo. It is another 90 mintes to Boone from there. But then you are 90 minutes closer in the first place.
ReplyDeletePlus not a bad drive. 151 to Iowa, Hyw 20 to I35, then south to Hwy 30 and west on 30 into Boone.
ReplyDeleteBye Bonnie and Victor. Thanks for coming to the party.
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame we culdn't make it to yer party. It sounded like yoo and evuryone else had a grate time!!! Yeaaa
ReplyDeleteDangit I missed ANOTHER party! Why the heck don't my People let me on the comouter when it's IMPORTANT TO ME???
ReplyDelete
