Poor Little Kittie

I was sitting in the front window on Monday waiting for mum to come home. A little calico kittie wandered by and I waved hello from inside. I knew she was cold and I told her to sit tight, mum would be home soon and could help.

So when I could see mum's metal monster coming down the street, I told the little one to wait, but as soon as mum pulled into the driveway, the little calico kittie ranned away! I told her to stay, mum is a nice purrson, you would get food and warmth. Mum saw her and tried to follow her and find her, but no luck. With the icy top on the snow the kittie left no tracks to follow.

Come back little kittie, we will help you.

Here is another of mum's attempts with Photoshop. You haven't heard of a cat bird?

I believe I can touch the sky.
Think about it every night and day.
Spread my wings and fly away"

  1. Derby, I completely misinterpreted your post when I saw Poor Little Kitty and that photo. I thought you had been eaten by a big bird! What a relief.

However I will purr that the little cat comes to her senses and talks to your human...

  2. Sometimes the outside kitties just don't know a good thing when they see it. It's not their fault, they just don't have experience with getting people to do their bidding...

  10. Our Momma does silly stuff like that with Paint Shop Pro. She is busy putting printing out a ton of digital photos and putting them in albums. Goes back to 2002. I was only 2 at the time, just a baby, like Squirt is now.

  18. We hope that the outside calico either went home to where she can be warm or comes back to you. We hate thinking about all the kittie and woofies with no homes in the cold weather.

You make a handsome - although unusual looking - bird. Your mom is quite handy in photoshop.
