ManCat Monday

The cat remains the friend of man because it pleases him to do so and not because he must.

Well I do love the food service around here, so maybe I shall stick around.

Me and mum didn't do much this weekend other than the usual stuff of laundry and foods shopping. Otherwise mum readed a book, finished one, started another. I thinks she is going to set a record for her for books read in one year.
The hots came back, then we had some thunder boomers and it got really dark like night when it wasn't night yet. The worst of the storm went well north of us.

Have a good week everyone.

  1. I think your decision to stick around is an excellent one, Ducky. Very wise indeed.

  2. My human wishes she had time to read more! She has so many partly-read books.

  3. Ducky, advise your mom to go to Goodreads.com; she can keep track of what she's read, and what she wants to read in the future. I used to keep a whole spreadsheet; now I use Goodreads (app on phone, and online). Read some this weekend, and since it's so hot here, I'm staying inside during my lunchbreak and will read for an hour!

  4. Are you making the most of your mum reading and keeping her company?

  6. Sounds like a great weekend to us, Ducky. We had to deal with the vacuum.

  8. We hates the hots--sorry they came back! The Human starting to like this whole retirement thing.

Oh and about the other thing? ::shhhhhhhhh:: Don't blow my ketchup story or no one will play with me anymore. And it didn't help that you wrote all that stuff the other day about how gently you play. The Human positively GLARED at me.
