Caturday

HiYa Ducky here. Happy First Caturday of TockTober! There will be a horsie race this afternoon, The Preakness, usually run in May. Me and mum will be watching.

Mum notice this little moth on the curtain yesterday. She thought she would try to get it outside but then got bizzy doing other stuff.

Later in the day it moved a little bit and I noticed it. You can see me getting ready to check it out.

The mum got into the moovie mode and caught the action!

I didn't catch it and neither me or mum has seen it since. So it has to be somewhere in the house, we just don't know where!

Mum has been bizzy with outside chores. She got out a bunch of the fevver feeders for the foods that they need during the cold weather. Still has some stuff to put out but she can wait with that until it gets really cold out.

So mum will be doing chores again tomorrow, reading and yeah, the usual crochet stuff. I think I will take some nice long naps!

Stay safe, stay healthy, please wear your mask.

  1. Don't give up Ducky, you will get that moth eventually. It is a bigger moth and they are okay. I don't like the small ones though. Winter 2018 we had a new carpet, then in Spring I kept seeing lots of tiny gold coloured moths, then minute tufts coming out of the carpet. It was carpet moths and the larvae were munching on it! I got industrial spray and haven't had a problem since. We bought more carpet from the same place earlier this year and when we brought it home we laid it out on the lawn and gave it a good spraying "just in case."

  4. Manny and CB have tried to destroy the house while chasing a moth! Most often, the humans have to catch the insect, to save everything from destruction.
