Garden Thursday

Hello and Welcome to Garden Thursday. Right now we are having a wonderful stretch of fall weather. Sunny, warm but not hot and not humid either. We all are loving it!

First about the kittie we have seen. Haven't seen it since BUT mum put out crunches and they are disappearing. However mum hasn't seen who is actually eating them. She sat most of yesterday afternoon and no takers. She went to make dinner and take out the trash for pickup. She checked later, yep, all gone!

A few fall flowers, Sedum, a few final blooms on the cone flowers and some variety of asters.

Since it is nice mum is slowly working her way through cutting back the garden. This didn't get done last fall since she waited so late and then broked her ankle. She isn't waiting for a hard freeze this year like she usually does.

We got a very slight frost on early Monday AM. Just barely can see it on the grass, but a bit of ice on the bird bath and you can see it on the roof of the house next door.

Plus a purrty tree just down the street!

Stay safe, stay healthy, wear a mask. VOTE!

  1. Your sedums are just like ours are now. Lovely trees too.

TBT bought a wildlife camera years ago. One might show who is eating the outdoor cat food.

  3. Nice to have some fall color! We couldn't help but notice that your sundial is looking a bit sad. Did a squirrel do that? We know how they get. ;-)

  4. We sit on the deck, and the leaves are beginning to fall on us...as well as twigs, acorns, and whatever rubbish the squirrels want to heave at us!
