Fang Shui Friday

Cuteness is powerful feng shui - so powerful that is should be utilized in the most extreme circumstances, such as when the humans are eating food that you desire, or when the humans think you've done wrong. From Fang Shui by Catfucious, Peter Pauper Press, 2002. I have been so busy with my company that past few days. Thankfully they are leaving today. But I did my best to make furiends with Uncle Stormie. I kept walking under him and tickling his legs with my tail. Then as he sat and looked at his book, I sat by him to at least show that I was making the effort to make furiends.
Yesterday morning I waited for him to come out from his sleepy place. I want to show him that I don't have any ill will towards him and am more than willing to meet him half way. Late last night I did get a few small pets from him. So I think we are making progress.
Grampie has been over here lots too. So with Grampie, Stormie and Aunty Pammy here there have been lots of people to get scritches from. Aunty Pammy used to have kitties so she is nice, but Stormie is a harder nut to crack. But I believe the first step has been taken.

But they are leaving today and then I can have mum all back to myself and get into all of the rooms in the house again. Then I will have time to get to teleport over to the party cat Kattonic Cats. The party at Skeezix's was nice, I got to pop in and out while I had a break from the company. I can spend more time tomorrow partying.

  1. Why are uncles that way???? Good for you for taking the initiative to meet him half way.

Oh, and yes, you are cuteness defined, except for SlyCat!

  4. I think you made great gains with your Uncle if he petted you a few times. You can do it! Win him over!

  9. Well done for not giving up on the human - I can see you are slowly breaking down his barriers - resistance is futile! FAZ

  10. Cuteness does work wonders, at least for us. Mom melts when she sees the cute face. Our uncle is not a cat person, but a woofie person. He at least makes an effort to pet us but we're more interested in sniffing the woofies smell on him.

  11. I'm glad you made the effort with your company - some beans are hard to win over, but you will eventually, afterall who could resist your cuteness!

  19. It says a lot for you that you haven't given up on Stormie. Any human can change, but it takes patience. You've done a fine job of that.

  20. Well Derby, you put your best paw forward toward your Uncle Stormie. He probably did like you tickling his legs with your tail but he just didn't want to show it. Guess you have your Mom all to yourself now. Bet it's really quiet around your place.

  21. Glad you've got your mom all back to yourself. Nothing like a mom to yourself for snuggling and loving.
