HiYa Ducky here. Happy Caturday. It has gotten colder here, so much that the grass was all frostly. Mum says the flowers are pretty much done blooming.
So she has had a bizzy week, mostly going out to eat meals with people. Did she bring stuff back for me? No, said she ate it all at the place or it wasn't suitable for me to eat. Spicy and such.
Me in the other chair with the crow-shay piled up here. Her latest project, making a lap blankie to give away. She made the final turn last night so it won't be long until it is done.
Mum went to the library for a talk on ghosts the other night. She was disappointed, the guy didn't actually show ghost pics, just talked about places he has been that he says have ghosts. Mum really wanted to see ghost pics.
One of the people mum went to eat with was the lady who had the cats, Orca and Dakota, who mum cat sat last month. She gave mum these neat earrings for helping. They are coppery and have a native American design. I like them too, I like to swat at them.
So that is it, everyone have a good weekend.
I love those earrings, and the artwork...a variation on Seurat's famous painting, is really cool! I am going to a lecture by a local group of ghost-hunters in a week; maybe they'll have some EVPs...
ReplyDeleteMy human is another one who never brings home kitty bags when she goes out to eat! I think she did once or twice from a Thanksgiving meal, but how often does that happen?
ReplyDeleteGhosts? Tis the season fur sure. Those earrings are very pretty!
ReplyDeleteAnother very cute pic of you today Ducky!

Those earrings are so pretty ! You look adorable on your blue blankie, Ducky ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteOne thing we've learned about moms eating out without bringing home something for us is this: "too spicy" is code for "I didn't want to share." Our guilty mom says this about KFC and Long John Silver. It's good she doesn't go to those places very often or we'd be very cranky.
ReplyDeleteWe love those earrings!
