Caturday

HiYa Ducky here, Happy Caturday! Life is pretty good around here. The weather has gotten really nice that we can  have open windows all day long. Mum even goes outside after dinner to sit and enjoy the nice. She takes her big fat book out with her to read until it gets dark.
This was me waiting for mum to come and sit down and read for a while. Yes, she reads lots, she reads pretty much every day. Says it is good for her brain.
As of today peoples are supposed to wear masks here when out and about near other people. Mum has already been doing that so no change for her, but she has to amemeber all the time. She thinks she should put some in the metal monster in case she forgets!

Mum says I won't have to wear a mask, it doesn't apply to kittehs!

Have a wonderful weekend.

Stay safe, stay healthy, wear your mask!

  2. I am glad you are having good weather. The weather is too cool and unsettled to do much sitting outside here, yet further up country they are having a heatwave!

  4. Ducky, I too read every day, and just picked up three books from the library, with three more ordered! Don't know what I would have done during this lockdown without BOOKS...and cats, of course...

  6. I'm glad that you don't need to wear a mask, Ducky. I don't think you'd like it.

  7. My human is staying as far away from people as possible for now, and wearing masks when she absolutely has to do shopping.

  8. My mom and dad wear masks everywhere they go. They are also both avid readers as well, and dad's current selection is a big, big one. Psst, here's a little secret- it's so big because it's a large print book. Dad doesn't want word getting out that he's now reading some of those.
