Can I Help?

Mum tries very hard to keep me off of the counters when she is cooking. But I likes to be there and help. Here I am checking that she gotted all of the stuff out of the can and into the cooking thing. But mum didn't appreciate my help.
So I will just sit on top of the book thingy that tells her what to do. She will have to ask for my help then. HEHEHE.

Hope all of my poodin furiends and beans have a safe holiday weekend in the US. The rest of you just have a safe weekend.

  6. Oh you're so helpful Derby. I wish I was as helpful. I'm scared of the counters though.

Note from Mean Ole Mom: I trained each of the cats individually to stay off the kitchen counters by giving them their medicine there. Pills? Get on the counter to get it. Antibiotics? Get on the counter to get it. All of them needed meds at first, since they were all rescues. Now they all stay off the counters. See why they call me Mean Ole Mom? *grins*

  7. I stay out of the Mom's way because I know that if we're good and stay off the counter, she'll put down treats for us.

  11. You are so athletic getting up on the counters, Derby. This is Mandarin here by the way, just checking in to let you and Vir-ginger know how well I am getting on in my new life in the UK. Eric let me write on his blog today. It's so hot here!

  13. I have to inspect the counters and kitchen table. The beans have given up. They realize that training me to stay off only means staying off while they are around to watch. You know, I'm starting to think they are smarter than you might think.

  14. I am a good kitty and I stay off the counters (Mama made me say that). No, really, I do not do counters. I have nice window ledges tht are roomy, and I like them.

But you have a kitchen window. We don't (which means the kitchen gets very hot, so who wants up there when I have fans in the other rooms)!!!
