Fang Shui Friday

The inside of the clothes dryer is warm and inviting, but beware of fast approaching humans who may wish to throw damp clothes at you and press buttons.

This makes for very bad ch'i.

From Fang Shui by Catfucious, Peter Pauper Press, 2002.
Yes I have jumped inside the clothes dryer once or twice. But mum can easily see me and makes me come out before she puts stuff in. She says I really don't want to go for a ride in this thing.

Plus my furiend Faz, has checked out his bean's dryer as well.

Happy TGIF - Thank God I'm Feline.

  5. Oh, now I understand. TGIF means Thank God I'm Feline. My mom always wishes she were a cat just before the days she calls weekend. By the way, I really enjoy your blog.

  11. Beware of clothes dryer. Peeking in them is fun. Crawling in them can be deadly.

  14. We have NO INTEREST in going into that noisy machine. We prefer something soft to lie on.

    You be careful, okay?

  15. Hi Derby, my Mom has pictures of Cleo in the dryer. She says she's going to post them next week. The dryer doesn't interest me any. Mom's very carful when she does the laundry and makes sure we aren't in there when it goes around and around. It doesn't look very comfortable to lay in when I look in ours, but you look like you are pretty comfortable in yours.

  16. Checking out the dryer is so much fun! Especially when it is so nice and warm inside. The lady never lets us stay in there though - something about needing to get the laundry done. She needs to get a fur coat like us - then she wouldn't need to do all that work. I heard her tell someone that a cat she once had actually went for a ride in the dryer once!! It was an accident but the kitty wasn't very happy about it. I guess dryer's are for sitting in - not going for rides.

  17. I heard the lady tell someone a long time ago about a cat she used to have that actually went for a ride in the dryer! It was an accident cause he blended in with the tub, but the cat never went near the dryer again. Must have been a scary ride!

  19. Derby, you like to live dangerously! The closest I'll come to one of those big white danger machines is a basket of warm clothes fresh out of the dryer. And even then, Mama throws me out when she finds me there.

  20. I don't like gettin near the big spinnin machine. Baskets of warm clothes are nice tho. Glad your mum doesn't throw things at you when you get in there.!

  23. Oh my! I'm very glad your mom can easily see you in the dryer. You wouldn't want to be in there when it's on.
