Fang Shui Friday

The pleasant tinkling of wind chimes invigorates the soul.

Batting the wind chimes around at 4 A.M. will invigorate the soul optimally.

From Fang Shui by Catfucious, Peter Pauper Press, 2002.

Update on the 'puter. It is back and pretty much working. Plus Mr. Geek did rescue the pictures and such. But mum did have a bit of a problem. At first the silver thingy wouldn't work in the drive. So she took it and the 'puter to Mr. Geek. They had put it on a disc that our drive wouldn't work with. Another hour out of her life. So they had to move the data to ones we could use. SUCCESS. Our pictures and such do still exist. YAY.

But mum didn't have time to find the picture of me playing with the windchime. So just imagine me, jumping around and making noise in the middle of the night. Mum doesn't have to imagine, I do it all the time.

  1. Glad you got the puter up and running!

Momma has lots of those chimy things, she really likes listening to them sing to her, but not as much as when I sing to her, she likes that best of all.

  5. So glad that your computer is back, Derby. I'll be asking the woman to move the wind chimes in the house where I can play with them, although I don't have tons of hope that she will...

  6. Glad your pooter is working again. We have windchimes outside. We don't think Maw would move them in so that we could bat them at 4:00 in the am. Nope. We agree with Chey. Ain't gonna happen. But you keep up the good work Derby!!!

  7. Boots (Mommy's kitty when she was a little girl) used to bat on the windchines outside the kitchen window to announce that he wanted back inside. He had the humans trained well. heh.

We don't go outside by ourselves, but we think we'd like a windchime to wake everyone up at 4 am.

  10. Derby, that arrangement sounds perfectly fine! While I need the moral support walking down the aisle, I am a Meeze and can certainly speak for myself!

  12. we have some wind chimes nearby too Derby. Ours don't ring very much as we don't get much wind where they are. Next door has some deep sounding wind chimes that make an Oriental sound when the wind springs up. I am more interested in listening for other things. Like the dog at the back and kitties jumping on the fence and running around.
