Fang Shui Friday

There can be only one feng shui master in the home.

Make sure the dog knows this.

From Fang Shui by Catfucious, Peter Pauper Press, 2002.
Or your beans, they must know that you are the master or mistress of your universe, the house, the yard etc. EVERYTHING!

Plus I have a question for all of you. There are two big pictures behind me. Can you tell me what they have in common?

  1. You definitely look like that Master in that picture, Derby. You would definitely scare any Roboreptile.

I studied the picutres behind you. I know the one on the left behind is called Starry Night, is that right? I have to say that they have the stars in common.

  2. Well...the Woman has both of those, plus a third one in the series. They're both from Van Gogh's Starry Night collection. That first one is the most well know, but in additionto that other one you're right in front of, there's one of an alfresco cafe. She loves them lots.

  13. Yes, humans must learn that everything, as far as we can see, is OURS!

Are both pictures by the same artist?

  14. That Starry night picture is my mum's sister's favourite. When she and my mum went to see the Van Goghs at the Musee D'Orsay in Paris and the Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam, my mum had to drag her sister away after a long, long time! She has got a big Van Gogh in her house too but it's the one of the church at Auvers.

  16. Momma loves Van Gogh's art, so she knew thoe pictures, but I didn't. I like starry nights, though -- I like to watch 'em out the window.

I wanna be master of everything, but that falls to my big sister Brainball 'cause she's Alpha Cat around here. But she's really, really nice to me and lets me cuddle with her.
